I love les barricades. I have listened to many renditions of it on TH-cam - on guitar, piano, harpsichord, lute and others. I like this rendition the best. There is something about the tempo and the energy that does justice to the purity of this piece. Many thanks, from San Jose, California.

Try the David Russel interpretation. They are very similar. They both understand the piece a lot more than the rushing fools.

This is such a beautiful rendition. I feel that the classical guitar naturally renders the various voices in this piece in a slightly different timbre, making it truly contrapuntal in a natural way.
