I don't think in this era people think about being patriotic/feel proud of this country including me until I started listening to all these podcasts. Also inspiring us to do something in future!

From the icy hell of Siachen to the boiling hells of inhuman Dark continent Africa - Major Samar Toor is the most hardened soldier i saw on this podcast. He is not smiling it off or giggling to ease it out or creating an illusion about what service a soldier offers to our nation and how different is it from other government jobs. He stated terrible facts which make the hardships of daily life seem like fairy tale.
Very factual, extremely reasonable and practical minded. A big salute to our Major. May we have more podcasts with him, especially on how our military see geopolitics and their relations with the armed groups of various nations, what's our military's perspective on US and Russian military and so on.

Although I know about the Army life in combat and at the forefront being from defense family. The feeling and experience is very difficult to explain, it's just experienced when working in forefront. Just check Maj. Toor's eyes there is so much calm composure (cool as a cucumber). He has rich operational experiences to share which cannot be divulged due to security reasons but whatever he shared is to be cherished. Good to see another informative podcast!

The involuntary hand movements of sir while he deep inhaled and cropped frame of Toor Sir to contain his hands, shows how deep he is suffering the memories and still he has a mind space and strength to manage his conscious.
(I might be wrong in my observation, Ranveer bhai if u could add please).
Also, I felt the episode ended too abrupt or soon Ranveer bhai. I just wish it must not be because of Toor Sir’s health, cos I am sure we all want to know more from him. More he will share, our nation will be stronger and his soul will be lighter.
Anyone who has seen war movies based on African nations, must have had images built in mind when Sir were explaining, and for that to happen to our minds corrupted by fukkin social media - is a service to nation Ranveer bhai is doing.
Youth needs to expose their mind to such stories and be thankful to our army. Whenever I see an army truck crossing on highway I bow down and say Hi to the driver jawan to let them know that we know what they are suffering. When he goes to barracks, he will tell his colleagues that youth knows. If we all do this in multiplication, the already high morale of our troops will be pumped and they will feel it’s worth it cos we all civilians are thankful and kind. Makes sense to me.
Power to you Ranveer bhai and team. ❤
