My ONLY problem about women basketball, and it's just a thought, is the rim is to high. If I had some input on trying to excite the game I'll have to add dunking. Not elementary low lol 9' minimum. We would have a female version of Vince carter by the next 30 years

And me lowering the rims would have nothing to do with that. I'm just basing it on if I was owner it'll be something I'll experiment with for a season. I promise you it'll bring excitement to the game.

@@southernflavamaker I'm not a big fan of dunks. I'd much rather see great passing and seeing an actual play develop. Similar to the clip shown in the beginning, three passes and score. Eventually there will be more women with height of 6'5" and wingspan of 7 feet who can dunk.

The difference in pay from the US to overseas is not a small amount. Starting pay in the US is about 40,000 and in Russia, China, Europe, Turkey......it's $200,000. Sue and Diana were probably making $1,000.000 each season - also free room and board. The $100,000 is for training for the Olympics. Most WNBA players go overseas right after the season is over and the WNBA wants the elite players to stay around to train for the Olympics. So, once every 4 years they'll use this method to recruit and train the women's team.

The WNBA used to have a decent audience until cord cutting began. When the league first started, people knew who the players were because womens college basketball was popular on cable. Now, since no one has cable anymore, the WNBA viewership suffered tremendously.

The problem with the WNBA is that it's super boring when you compare it to the NBA or even NCAA mens ball...why would people watch something that is boring? I mean I like going bowling, but I am not going to sit and watch it. I definitely wouldn't go to a professional bowling event. I feel the same with the WNBA. It's slow, little to no dunking (and the rare dunks that do happen are pretty pedestrian), LOTS of airballs, etc. There are some dang good ballers in the WNBA, but they just aren't all that interesting to watch...it's just the way it is. I think the WNBA players should just be thankful that the NBA keeps dumping tens of millions of dollars each year just to keep them afloat and they get to play the game they love for a living.

A showcase of strength, skill, speed, aggression and power. All the things WNBA lacks. See if other WOMEN actually supported women's sports they'd be making bank...but women (generally speaking of course) don't want to watch other women play basketball or any other sport for that matter. Why should the men have to pay for the womens league? If it cannot stand on its own, it is not a viable product. They lose 15 million a year while getting 10 million a year from the nba.
