100% agree. Playing Alexious felt better honestly. It's felt natural and his voice acting was good in my opinion. It is also more historically accurate cause female Spartans weren't a thing in this time period. Plus he was just a better protagonist
Since I am a girl myself I tend to wanna play as a girl in video games as well, however, after playing for merely 2 hours with kassandra I could feel something was off. I switched to Alexios immediately it all felt better!
I 100% agree from my time playing the game, Alexios just suits it more to be the main compared to when he’s the one being Deimos Alexios just seems like a spoiled brat but kassandra on the other hand, suits being Deimos she’s got the attitude that’s just my opinion. Play who you want to play.
I couldn’t take Alexios seriously as Deimos, he always sounds like he has already got 90% of his anger in every simple sentence he says. Kassandra as Deimos feels more calculated, she actually sounds unstable and that’s what fits Deimos’ personality so well, with Kassandra as Deimos you can feel that she could snap at any moment but at the same time she’s so calm and cunning and it truly makes you worried if sweet baby sister Kassandra is still in there or if it’s really too late for her. With Alexios as the villain I just don’t get the same feeling, at the end on the mountain when he finally breaks down after holding Leonidas’ spear and starts to become a good guy again it just doesn’t feel genuine for some reason.
Alexios will always be better in my opinion. I just wish they went the same route in Odyssey like they did with Syndicate. Alexios as the mercenary Eagle Bearer and Kassandra as someone in the shadows trained by Darius.
