Okay i want to find an old point and click game. Its about some guy trying to find an orb or something and bring it back to celestia. And the guy is a human. I saw once 2 guys play it on youtube but i cant for the love of god remember the name. It has a bad ending where you become cadance thats all i know from the lil bit of lets play i saw years ago. Pls anyone know what this game was? Its driving me nuts!
Story of the Blanks was my favorite as a kid! The game was a major comfort for me, I would play it whenever I was upset. I remember getting injured after riding my bike and having to stay home to rest, so I went on my dad’s laptop and played this game to help ignore the pain I was in, which actually helped a lot lmao. I deeply miss these old MLP games, I have to replay them all someday
I remember playing this game and loving how it was just it Just a game, no backstory, no Patreon, no fic, no nothing, just a short horror game made out passion and love for MLP and the horror genre That's the kind of purity I like, just vibes, no ulterior reasons You should check out the song the MLP FNF modders made out of this song, genuinely good stuff, especially with the animations they made
omg I remember this one, I couldn't play it but I watched some playthroughs of it, back then it scared the crap out of me lol But now I appreciate it for not being overly edgy and filled with gore for no reason at all
So nostalgic. I also watched those Dashie Storytime vids and played Fancypants as a kid, and I'm pretty sure Story of the Blanks was my first horror game. The rotting horses are still super creepy to me, especially in the pixel style where a lot is left up to your imagination.
Bonus thing to know: Another MLP FIM fangame actually has a secret ending related to this game/story, but it requires some specific criteria to accomplish. Some of ya'll might know what I'm talking about, I just wanted to bring that up so those who don't know can now know
@@GamerMage2k-kl4iq I feel that the game is enjoyable when interacting with the overworld, and playing the muffin mini game. Plus the Derpy apocalypse ending is pretty funny. But it's when you take the normal route and partake in the boss fight that the game falls flat, mainly because of how long and minimalistic it is.
ohh this game.. this game scared the crap out of me for some reason a brilliant 8-bit game with a brilliant story and music to boot! It needs a re-boot in better graphics and make the scary parts worse. I still remember the words mitta said " Fools even in death they do not understand.. I should have protected her but I made my choice.. this is our ever-lasting punishment...what we deserve.. now RUN! RUN for your life!" Still sends chills down my spine with the background music as your running away.
I remember "watching" a stream of this game years ago. I wasn't good with horror so I had my screen covered half the time while listening. I do remember looking at the screen when there was a dismembered applebloom, I used to think that was the ending but after watching this video I guess that was a game over? I don't really wanna check I'm still not the best with horror, better than I used to be though.

I remember hearing about this game inside a video talking about the history of mlp horror games or mlp fan games.
The story of blanks is a amazing fanfic in my opinion.
It inspired me to make a MLP oc exclusively for this story.
Otheriwse known as *the mayor*
Good times... I miss this era so much now :') the fun little horror bits a creative games.
Great video btw!
Oh thank God I'm not alone, I always did find the episode with Starlight Glimmer suspiciously similar to Story of The Blanks.
This game scared me as a kid
story of the blanks is my fave!!! played it when i was young and the story was interesting!!
Story of the Blanks is basically Mario '85 before Mario '85.

I remember this and think of it often
A story of blanks? I know there's an audio story about it on Scribbler's channel.
I played this game, even made fanart of it
I remember watching as a kid I remember one seen where Granny Smith was a zombie or possessed it was really scary
The music reminds me of FAITH
MORTIS!!!!

@@GamerMage2k-kl4iq It's called Super Filly Adventure. It's a far weaker game.
@@SmokeTheHorsehog Bingo on the game name. Yeah, the game itself ain't the best, but it does have it's charm.
