Come to think of it I do have the MyLittlePony books I always wonder about that character he could be a biblical angel

I know this has nothing to do with this video, but I wanted to share this MLP G5 theory I have. You see, Opaline shares some aspects from these G4 villains: She has the alicorn magic and desire to conquer Equestria Nightmare Moon had. She has the pure evilness and manipulation skills of Queen Chrysalis. She even has Tirek's want to steal all of Equestria's magic. Since G5 was originally a G4 reboot, the writters were considering those 3 villains as candidates for the main villain, but when it was decided it should focus on a new cast, they choose to merge those aspects and create Opaline since they haven't decided on which G4 villain to use bwfore the change of plans.

It is nice to have some comics for the spooky season. I loved reading these stories and seeing the costumes in the G4 ones were cute. These were fun and spooky comics for sure. Happy Nightmare Night~!!

Set Your Sail was truly one of my favorite G5 stories. I loved the main different sea characters like Queen Calla Lily, Princess Anemone, and the Trench Ponies. It was also fun getting a small mystery like element with both the queen and the trench ponies. I do hope in the comics we can explore more of the undersea world and see more of the secrets that are hiding under the sea.

3:11 seeing Sunny with goggles and a wrench kind of made her look like Episode 1 Anakin SkyWalker but her final design with the rope-braided Ponytail makes her look like Episode 1 Obi-Wan Kenobi, except because she's a girl her braid is MUCH LARGER.

They should make a movie with the old concept anyway Honestly, it'd be cool if movies released 2 trailers, both with different concepts, and get the community to vote on which story makes the final cut. It may cost more to shoot both, so that's why it'd be purely conceptual. Blocked-in colours, live actors if needed (And if used, green screen onto storyboards) Minecraft Movie might've benefited from this ngl

What if he's a ghost writer for future Spike? He could be traveling to these events to observe how they played out so that the in-universe comics are historically accurate.

I was always wondering about this character every time they would show up in the story, glad to finally now about them. This really gave me an interesting look at this mysterious character!

5:19 Man, I wish they'd kept Sunny's freckles in the final design. She looks so CUTE with them. Models B and D in particular really stand out for me personally.

King Sombra is my favorite character. I hate what they did to him in the show. He deserved so much more.

Of all the characters mentioned here, Marble and Limestone are the ones I most would have wanted more out of. We got almost nothing about them, and they're IMPORTANT because they are the sisters of one of the main characters of the show :(

Also there's that one episode where Rarity and Big Mac were part of a singing quartet called The Pony Tones with two other ponies whose names were never even mentioned on-screen, and then The Pony Tones are never mentioned again and Rarity and Big Mac still act like complete strangers afterwards.

There are a lot of things I don’t like about Starlight, but you are right. She did have a different, more grounded understanding of friendship, and this is what made her an interesting character despite her flaws.

I think another forgotten character was Mr. Cake, his last dialogue was on 'The one where Pinkie knows' and after that he never had a voice line again, he made some vague appearances after, it would make sense if Mrs cake didn't became important on the last seasons, why ignoring his character when they are giving Mrs cake plot relevance? He became a background pony after that and the baby cakes were just slightly more important.

if g5 ends what about the skyros story + misty's mysterious room in brighthouse + map with alicorns in opaline castle + misty becomes an alicorn + what about other creatures from g4 because they are canon

I've been thinking long and hard about that chat Nightwing and I had a while back. I still can't forgive him for his earlier behavior, and I don't know if I ever will. But I will admit this, he's not wrong. G5 hasn't wasted all of its potential just yet, nor should we be so quick to declare it dead. I know I gove G5 a lot of gripes, as do many others, but I still wish for it to surprise me and succeed. No matter how slim the odds are.
