I'll add on, Discord became better as a character in G5 comics. Reason is because in the G5 comics, Discord became a tragic character who lost the pony he loved, and now wants to protect ponies

I always love getting to see reformed villains and what more they can do in the future episodes and story arc's both in the show and comic. Also love Discord, Starlight, and Trixie in the comics now that they are reformed their stories are a lot of fun!!

Discord is like alastor but even more powerful and less sadodtic

The Tantibus didn't transform Luna into Nightmare Moon. Rumble was never a villain. This video makes the problem of assuming "antagonist" means "villain". Many of these characters are antagonists, but not villains. Discord is different in his redemption because of his nature. Unlike most villains (not to be confused with non-villain antagonists), Discord was never evil. If I were to give Discord a D&D alignment, it would be Chaotic Neutral. That didn't change until the Season 4 Finale. The only thing different between pre-reformed Discord and post-reformed Discord was valuing friendship. That's why he so easily turned to villainy in the Season 4 Finale. Tirek offered him friendship AND power, which benefits him more than just friendship. When he learned how it feels to be betrayed, and thus learned how Fluttershy must've felt, Discord went from Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Good. The only reason Discord doesn't seem to be redeemed is because his personality never changes (except for that one episode, and that one story in the comics).

This Would have been the perfect plot for a My Little Pony The Movie Sequel! This doesn't deserve to be just an episode,.... It deservers to be a Movie!

I dont comsider Misty a disappointment. She was never ment for the villanous act. She was brainwashed and used and abused. Is a very interesting, relatable and complex story for a cartoon show. It was done pretty well in my opinion.

If you count Rumble in Marks and Recreation as a villain being redeemed, would you count Angel in She Talks to Angel as a villain being redeemed? Yeah, Rumble did turn everyone against the CMC, but he was more so a rebel leader than what I would call a villain. And he wasn't a bully like some other child antagonists. Angel Bunny, by contrast, is more infamous for his bad behavior, both towards Fluttershy as she tries to care for him and in general. Though at the same time, he has plenty of other moments that shows he isn't all the cretin that a lot of the fandom paints him as, both in the comics and in the show. And in She Talks to Angel, he was perhaps at his most malicious, thinking more about himself and how he wanted that carrot-based medical serum, while also being cruel to the other animals. Not to mention just how much worse he was when he and Fluttershy swapped bodies, chaining the wolf up, banging the giraffe's neck, and at first not giving a shit when the elephant's trunk got messed up from inhaling those keys. But in that story, when shit does go too far with his cruelty, lack of empathy and carelessness once the snake devours the elephant, albeit after the veterinarian informs him of the situation, he does make an active effort and learns to work together with the other animals to save the elephant and get those keys out. And by then, while it was unfortunately left as just one episode of Season 9, that cruelty in him finally died. Whether or not this is a good or bad reformation, I say is up to you. I mean, I enjoyed it, mostly because Angel is one of my favorite characters in Friendship is Magic.

i remember how i found this game on some online games kids website when i was little. i couldn't get past all the zombie ponies and so i just forgot about it, thinking it was just some weird creap zombie mlp game. at some point this game even felt like a fewer dream! years later i saw this game in a fnf mod by bbpanzu, and my memories hit me like a rock. i started to read about the lore, rewatched the gameplay on youtube, and now this is one of my favorite mlp creepy media! i even created a few ocs inspired by sotb. this game is so simple and short, yet charming and creepy

I remembered when I played this game back in the day. I was in High School at the time.

Former brony here. I know how 2024 was the worst year for my interest on My Little Pony (because of prefering Sailor Moon,J-pop acts and Shantae) but I think G5 deserve a chance here. Heck,even on 2022,I say that the OST of this generation are much better than G4! Plus, I didn't watch Season 2 of Tell Your Tale. Maybe how my interest on the franchise turned out on late 2023,like you talked about Make Your Mark

I know this has nothing to do with this video, but I wanted to share this MLP G5 theory I have. You see, Opaline shares some aspects from these G4 villains: She has the alicorn magic and desire to conquer Equestria Nightmare Moon had. She has the pure evilness and manipulation skills of Queen Chrysalis. She even has Tirek's want to steal all of Equestria's magic. Since G5 was originally a G4 reboot, the writters were considering those 3 villains as candidates for the main villain, but when it was decided it should focus on a new cast, they choose to merge those aspects and create Opaline since they haven't decided on which G4 villain to use bwfore the change of plans.

It is nice to have some comics for the spooky season. I loved reading these stories and seeing the costumes in the G4 ones were cute. These were fun and spooky comics for sure. Happy Nightmare Night~!!

Set Your Sail was truly one of my favorite G5 stories. I loved the main different sea characters like Queen Calla Lily, Princess Anemone, and the Trench Ponies. It was also fun getting a small mystery like element with both the queen and the trench ponies. I do hope in the comics we can explore more of the undersea world and see more of the secrets that are hiding under the sea.

They should make a movie with the old concept anyway Honestly, it'd be cool if movies released 2 trailers, both with different concepts, and get the community to vote on which story makes the final cut. It may cost more to shoot both, so that's why it'd be purely conceptual. Blocked-in colours, live actors if needed (And if used, green screen onto storyboards) Minecraft Movie might've benefited from this ngl
