    I loved seeing your colours and the reference to the Northern Lights. My colours are cool and slightly muted, with inspiration from sea, sky and late winter flowers eg snowdrop, periwinkle and lavender crocus. They make me feel a lot happier despite the dark and cold.

    Thank you so much for your videos! I am leaving for a five week travel to Argentina with a 35 degree Celsius temperature span and activities from hiking to fancy dining 😅 your explanations helped me so much to be rather thinking in outfits and not just throwing clothes in my backpack and be miserable once I arrive because I feel like, I forgot something 🎉 I narrowed everything down to 42 items and I am already excited to wear the combinations I picked. (Yay for indyx as well 😂)
    I also love that your capsules are not beige but colourful 🌈

    Great minds think alike, Mili - you & Ellie are both in good company. I. LOVE. that 1st thick jumper! 😍 I have soooo many different coloured/neckline versions of that pink top you ”don’t instantly love”. They’re my staple under-layer. I’ve put a couple that are a bit too small atm in storage for now though. The green skirt is beautiful. I love the nature reference in your choice of colours. I’ve been doing something similar to combat SAD by “spotting” as many different colours as possible in nature throughout the winter. Your choice of skirts vs trousers in winter is like a very exaggerated version of me (at my normal size). Oo that blue alpaca dress is lovely! The cropped jacket is very Sgt. Pepper (in a great way). I’m looking forward to investing in more (new) outerwear that’s definitely “me” when I lose my weight. I need to pare down my accessories & bags, and stop buying imperfect items when I know I’ll keep looking for something perfect. Eg my fave “bother boots” ankle boots sprung a leak. I bought some replacements in autumn but their tops rub my legs & start to hurt, plus they have zip-up sides. I’m yet to find the perfect pair: real good-quality leather, cushioned tops, good grip sole, incredibly low heel (vs wedge), round toe, lace-up (originally didn’t want any zips at all but no2 I don’t mind so much). Since my main coat this season is black, I’m trying to use my colourful scarves & handbags more.

    I love the idea of 5F for organizing for seasons. I love putting some items away so I am excited when they pull them back out in a later season. I feel like I might need to do this a bit more as I have things I leave all year and since I'm always seeing them I think I wear them more than I do and their specialness is diminshed. Maybe some absence will make the heart grow fonder or I can say goodbye. Great video as always!!

    A boat neck 3/4 sleeve is my favourite fit of basic top for autumn-spring but I don't have them in my best colours. I really think it looks great on you, please give it a chance 🙏

    I enjoy watching your thought process "unfold". I had not heard of the 5 F Method before but plan to use it in future. And I like the idea of starting with an inspiration from art or an item of clothing that you already own. As a Winter, you are lucky, as you have black as a great neutral, arguably the coolest signature neutral. I'm an Autumn so I'm stuck with Boring Browns. However, since I don't love Brown, I have embraced using Olive Green as my signature neutral, along with Warm Ivory, and Tobacco Brown. These are great in Autumn but not really Winter, Spring or Summer colours. Any ideas?

    • @MiliVelikova
      @MiliVelikova  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I actually really enjoy the autumn colours (as you saw I still bought a mustard and orange jackets, these colours are so fun!). I think olive, chocolate and ivory would be my neutrals if I were an autumn!
      Hmm I struggle with similar things in the sense that in the summer, there's loads of bright colours, but I've had to search quite a bit to find my cool winter jumpers / coats - they don't make many. So I can imagine finding a mustard coat or an olive coat might be hard, same with sandals / lighter jackets. I think for me second hand shopping on vinted has helped - it allows me to search by colour so I was able to select the kind of item + the colour , so even if I can't find it in stores, I can try to find it online!

      @@MiliVelikova I actually don't have either mustard or pumpkin in my colour palette, which is good because those colours give me a visceral nausea. I am a Deep Autumn.

      @@RebeccaJordan-z6q Finding a warm burgundy is not easy and the cool version pales me. Unfortunately the purples in my custom palette are ugly dull eggplant, which I don't like and won't wear. I do like rust and mahogany brown, when I can find it. But thank you for the suggestions.

    I recently went through an exploration phase with my style to experiment and refine my vision. Now, I’m exiting the editing phase, where I narrowed my style parameters and preferences to keep my wardrobe focused. I’m entering the execution phase, where it’s all about applying my knowledge and standards.
    I’m leaving my winter wardrobe as is, but come March, I’ll be creating a spring capsule wardrobe, because I feel I am ready to create one I'll love now. Your videos and guides have been incredibly helpful! They actually inspired me to give capsule wardrobes another try because your approach allows for so much more personalization and freedom compared to traditional methods.
    Also, I love the inspiration and colors you chose for your winter capsule-they're so pretty! 💖

    Burgundy boots! I find burgundy looks gorgeous with green, grey and different shades of blue, I hope you'll have some occasions to style those this season. I wouldn't part ways with burgundy boots for life :)
    I didn't quite get why you have two very similar navy/green plaid skirts (?) but I'd totally wear burgundy boots with those!
    P.S. It's so funny how absolutely everything feels different for me but I love love love watching you! I will definitely use your 5F approach but with very different assumptions :)
    Where I live, winter is from late November to early March and is normally below 0 (so when the snow settles, that's when the suede boots can finally be worn after the rainy fall). This year, with 0 temperatures in Jan-Feb it feels like it's already spring :) I was literally searching for spring-summer ideas today.

      I considered doing some kind of capsule challenge or microcapsule or something. Feb is the most difficult month of the year imo, and it's still a few months before sun is a daily given around here. I tend to be my moodiest and least creative from Feb-May. So.. I need to do *something*, but I don't really need anything new temperature wise.

    • @MiliVelikova
      @MiliVelikova  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @EcentricSpoonieHousecat yeah totally get you! A mini capsule is a great idea! The other thing I've tried is a "randomiser". Basically you line up your jumpers, and generate a few random numbers, then you pick these from your pile. Same with bottoms, jackets. In that way I built a 25ish piece capsule. Andddd it was challenging but fun to make some outfits!

    • @danielleg1504

      @@MiliVelikova No. I use a year-round “capsule” (just a smaller-than-average wardrobe). Winterizing just means I make more use of coats than swimsuits and add tights a lot. 😂😂😂

    Another great video 🙏🏻 thank you! At 22:36 that is indeed a perfect colour on you 🤩 silly question, but what IS that colour, it’s one of my favourites, my bathrobe is the same colour but I don’t know how to google it. It’s between purple and pink with a bit more red. So is it plum? Orchid? Magenta? Also love the outfit at 33:49, you look really happy and confident in it xx

    What does everyone do with their hair in this weather? I live in Manchester, and it's horrible . When it's cold like today, it's fine, but when it is rainy, it doesn't matter how nice your outfit is if your hair is a frizzy matted mess you look horrendous. I don't want to wear a hat or space bun every single day.😢😢😢😢😢😢
