Actually, you are correct. BMW did slant the engine for better weight distribution. They've been doing that since the 80's. Also, if your fluids are vanishing (like your oil and coolant), it means that the engine is sucking them up and burning them. Check for slightly white exhaust (coolant) or dark to dark blue exhaust (oil) to see if you're burning it. It may mean that you have a small internal leak.
I had some coolant disappear, been keeping an eye on it & doesn’t look like it’s still losing any. Is it worthwhile to go get it looked at. by BMW or too insignificant for such a minor loss of fluid
DramaTv 101 so far been great. Only things that went out on me was 50k miles 1 ignition coil, and then my intake inlet cracked and my charge pipe cracked. Replaced charge pipe with a bms pipe, and the inlet I just used oem, was going to upgrade but found a cheap deal and just threw it in

OFHG leak is pretty common I had it and the oil dripped down to the belt caused the belt to snap whilst driving and it wrapped up around the alternator so that needed to be changed too was a huge job but luckily they covered it all with warranty

I have 120k on mine it’s got oil filter housing and oil pan leaks but the gaskets are already ordered, it also has a bad blend door actuator so the heat sometimes doesn’t work. Other than those the cars good.
Can anyone tell me a fair price for a 2016 bmw 435i (50,000 miles)? These dealers have all these fees makes me feel like I’m paying for fees I shouldn’t .
Has there been any major problems with it so far? Hasn't BMW 6's always been sitting at an angle? Did so in my E90 at least. Don't have that much faith in BMW engineers. German engineering is all about planned obsolescence and getting people back to the workshop. They know they have a somewhat rabid fanbase (borderline Alfasti) and even if they get one or two angry customers they'll habe 40 people outside the showroom drooling, just waiting to be able to buy one. Now recently with the subscription service on hardware, and ugly design, it feels like they're intentionally pushing it to find the limit where people just say no :p
The slant of the straight six is to make the weight lower. A lower center of gravity. It makes for tighter and better handling.
