Another delightful video by Angela. I love the unscripted impromptu style of your narration the words coming straight from your heart. Please keep up the great work. Ganbatte ne! 8-)
Thank you so much for the english and japanese notes and translations you've added in your video 😊 I'm learning a lot from your videos. Please keep up the good work 🙏
This is my neighbourhood, I walk Shotengai most days on my way home from work. Thanks for showing what a great area it is to others, it's great to get people outside the Yamanote line and seeing other parts of Tokyo.
I enjoyed Tokyo the first time and would love to see it again. You gave me a more native view of the place and that makes it more comfortable and exciting to visit.
I would always love to visit hidden spots in Tokyo, away from the main city area! Hope to visit more such hidden spots in Tokyo when I visit again! Great job and keep it up!
we often visit there. Futako tamaga is one of our usual hang out area and i loved how you able to explore places that i didnt know was there. Thanks. I loved your video especially places that is local and less touristy. Keep up the good work
Congratulations on the TH-cam Next Up! While many of my favorite TH-camrs seem to have lost it this year, you are shining brightly! Get ready for your channel to explode again with new subs! ;)
This is the third video I am watching and I am already loving this Tokyo Hidden Spots series. Thank you so much for sharing. I am coming to Tokyo in september and I am looking forward to see some these places you are introducing. Thank you.
Angela, I watch a ton of your videos. I love how candid they are and the food you include. It’s always great to watch your videos. You are so beautiful as well. It would be great to meet you when I come to Tokyo next year
wow what a gem of a spot! if I ever make it to Japan, this is a must see!! thank you for sharing this with us. As always, your video is flawless and you never miss a beat, iron a truck, lol
By popular request, here's another hidden spots video! I would love to see the hidden spots you are visiting too, so @internationallyme on instagram and show me :))
it'sMe TheHerpes It's a cool video's about Japan and about places in Japan that not known to many tourist's and she giving us an advice about good food, resturant's, places Really good information if you planning to visit Japan I wish i knew her before my first Trip to Japan haha
I really like the hidden spots videos you do!! I visit Japan once a year so it's always cool to find new spots when I visit. Thanks for the videos and keep up the hard work!!
Yeah! Futakotamagawa.oh! where is tokyu hands?8:02 the river brings back memory to me.I usually go there during summer most specially fireworks festival.Nice video.Arigatou gozaimasu.
I feel so nostalgic after watching this video!! I did a high school exchange in Tokyo 3 years ago and my school was only 2 train stops away from futako tamagawa. Me and my classmates would always head over there to shop and eat after school
I didn't discover much about this until after I moved to my current neighborhood (where we have lived for almost 5 years) in Philadelphia in the U.S., but what I like about it is the same--the mix of modern conveniences like shopping and access to the train with also a lot of nature and places to relax quietly. I don't want to move away from the city just to have quiet because I would have to learn how to drive a car just to buy food and home goods for my family. I do like the city. But I like living in a special part that has nature, too. :) Really nice video! It is good to see things that you wouldn't read about in a tourist guide.
I lived near Futakotamagawa during the mid 90's at an area called Todoroki. I have many fond memories of the place and the many bike rides along the Tama River. Thanks for the video.
I've been living here in tokyo fo four years now and i found your videos interesting. I want to start visiting these places that you recommended. more power to you. i subscribed!
stumbled on your videos, i come here very often and before covid was once a month and never explored all these places. i will be flying home on 1 nov 2022 and one more day to explore, stayed longer this time, been here since oct 12 2022. please continue to post more videos on Japan. i will be back again in Dec.
I just noticed that I actually sat at the same place as you!!! It's a really great spot to relax after a day in central Tokyo. I spent 5 weeks at a friend's house near Futako-Shinchi station. Wish I saw this video before though.
I don't like too crowded places. great tips from this video. I coul d feel his nice being around local streets and shop. less commercialized and true touch feeling in Tokyo Japan. Thanks.
ive been always looking forward to watching ur video since i watched for the first time. i want to tell u hidden spot but I cant..since im in Hyogo. I will visit the place you recommend on this video next month. I usually go to Tokyo to meet my friend whom I met when I studied abroad. 今日もありがとうございました!初コメです! first comment on ur video!!😙
コメントありがとうございます^^そして、いつも動画を観てくださって本当にありがとうございます!兵庫県はあまり詳しくないですが、めっちゃ行ってみたいです!I also am thinking about making a hidden spots video in Kansai soon, so I hope you can go to those places more easily :)
Never been to Futakotamagawa for a few years, but the restaurants in the old shopping street looked very interesting. Glad to see my hometown Setagaya is introduced in this way :)
Okay, next time! Btw, they were all on the shopping street which I showed the map of before I walked down it. I wrote the shop names too so if you search it on google should come out.
thank you, found the place already, it is at 4-7-5 Tamagawa, Setagaya , btw. could you make a video about how to get internet access in japan? maybe like prepaid card or something that foreigners can use.
I spent a wonderful warm spring morning of drunken bliss, dozing in the sun on the banks of the Tamagawa. I'd spent the previous night in the Aldgate in Shibuya watching Liverpool beat AC Milan in the European Cup, and didn't quite make it home because the motion of the train made me a bit queasy. So I got off at Futako-Tamagawa and dreamily passed out on the banks of the river. One of the best mornings of my life.
Hey Angela! We met at my cousin victors wedding! Loved this video as I worked at Futakotamagawa for two years when I lived in Tokyo so this bought back A LOT of memories. I used to eat at the food show at the ground floor of the shopping Center across the road from mizuho bank all the time 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hello From chicago USA, good morning here! Thanx for share your videos i love japan and you are so pretty.... your channel its so interesting. Congrats. ! Xoxoxo ♡ ;)
I really love your videos, you have inspire me taught me a lot about Japan not just Tokyo only, but more other countries also. You have this beautiful and tranquil vibe on you videos. Keep doing it well❤🤙
My wife and I visited this area when we were coming back from Kanagawa! Passing through the station on the Den-en-Toshi line we were impressed with the river so we got off the train and had a walk! Nearly all the Tokyu suburbs are pretty awesome I have to say, it's my favourite private railway (heck, Jiyugaoka is awesome as well, plus it's easy to get to from here on the Oimachi line).
That looks like such a nice area. The riverside area kinda reminds me of some animes I've seen haha. That tonkatsu looks good too. I haven't had tonkatsu, but I've had katsudon, which is also breaded pork cutlets but over rice. I liked it a lot, which is saying something since I don't usually like pork. Also a good example of the modern/local mix: when you talked about that one restaurant, you can see a Lawson combini in the background.
oh cool, it's so nice to see that you like this area Angela ^^ I was living between 用賀 and 二子玉 for some time, so I went to the river and walked these streets quite a few times :) 懐かしい by the way I was really looking forward to see the two fireworks there, but 2017's August's weather... well, wasn't really good and actually on the day of the fireworks there was a thunderstorm with heavy rain, so it was unfortunately cancelled :/
You are so cute~. You can sneeze "Hakushon!!" I love your videos. I come from Sangenjaya. I will go to eat the Tonkatsu next month. Every time I visit Japan, I go to Futakotamagawa. I can't wait.
Excellent! I love the food in Japan. I have a Western stomach so Japan is one of the "safe" countries for me---all the food is super safe for me to eat. Thank you.
"So, you feel like ramen, if you feel like sushi...rrrrrrrrrrrr.....and there's a truck" Liked how you reacted do that :D Love your videos! Keep up the good work!
とんかつが一番好きな食べ物だと思う。The best tonkatsu I had in Japan was at a tonkatsu shop in Sendai Station, sooo good. I want to try your tonkatsu shop. Oh, and have you been to Tsukishima, to have monjayaki?

we often visit there. Futako tamaga is one of our usual hang out area and i loved how you able to explore places that i didnt know was there. Thanks. I loved your video especially places that is local and less touristy. Keep up the good work
Thanks for showing us another quiet Tokyo neighbourhood, the Tonkatsu looks amazing. This area is close to Terrace House Tokyo too!
Congratulations on the TH-cam Next Up! While many of my favorite TH-camrs seem to have lost it this year, you are shining brightly! Get ready for your channel to explode again with new subs! ;)
Hello Kenzo! Thanks for your congratulations! I'm sorry to hear that your favourite youtubers couldn't get in ;( I guess I was lucky!

Right!! Haha great minds think alike :)
You barely flinched when the truck passed by so close! haha. Food looked really yummy :-)
Hahah that's true xD didn't notice that myself!
I didn't discover much about this until after I moved to my current neighborhood (where we have lived for almost 5 years) in Philadelphia in the U.S., but what I like about it is the same--the mix of modern conveniences like shopping and access to the train with also a lot of nature and places to relax quietly. But I like living in a special part that has nature, too. :)
Really nice video! It is good to see things that you wouldn't read about in a tourist guide.
Yeah, I love local areas :) You can find these so easier in a big city like Tokyo yet it's completely different.
Your making Tokyo more likable to see and visit again
You didn't like it the first time??
Tokyo is a great place to see and again
I lived near Futakotamagawa during the mid 90's at an area called Todoroki. I have many fond memories of the place and the many bike rides along the Tama River. Thanks for the video.
Ohhh Todoroki is a very nice place too!! I might do a hidden spots video around that area - jiyugaoka etc etc.
Keep up the great work, you deserve a lot more sub
Thanks! Appreciate you for saying that :) I enjoy making these videos either way!
I like this a lot. Showing real parts of the city, Tokyo.
Yes, the real parts are so much more interesting!
Continue to show more hide en jewels
Will do :)
Such a beautiful town. That park near the river was just so peaceful looking. The tonkatsu made me so hungry, especially with the curry.
The park is my favourite part about this area :)
What a lovely channel. :) When I stayed in Bangkok I loved finding hidden streets like this. I want to come see Japan next.
I've been living here in tokyo fo four years now and i found your videos interesting.

Okay, next time! Btw, they were all on the shopping street which I showed the map of before I walked down it. I wrote the shop names too so if you search it on google should come out.

Yeah, FutagoTamagawa is pretty cool! Yes you look a bit like a school girl. You're also a fresh dresser. Thanks for the video.

This place reminds me so much of the area along Arakawa river near Adachi-Odai station. There's also a market street nearby.
You deserve so much more likes and subs

Thanks for another great video :). It was quite a busy street! I kept hoping you weren't going to get hit by a car 😦. They were pretty close to you 😥

Angela those high heels when you go walking all day. My ankles feel broken just seeing them :)

とんかつが一番好きな食べ物だと思う。The best tonkatsu I had in Japan was at a tonkatsu shop in Sendai Station, sooo good. I want to try your tonkatsu shop. Oh, and have you been to Tsukishima, to have monjayaki?
Ginger too healthy mix!! Yummy!!!!
OK a request. Aizu-Wakamatsu station with their famous web cam and depart music, also I know it's in the prefecture Fukushima, would be interesting to see areas involved in the tsunami recent past. There is always a new one just around the bend, Japan, US usually not afraid to broadcast live.
Hmmm sure, I'll try if I'm in the areas!
