Portable Container RADAR at Cape Town

This is the mobile radar used during the South African 2017/2018 replacement project to stand in for DN (Durban) Bluff and CT (Cape town) SB1 radars.
We hade ATA radar commission (set up, flight test etc.) and integrate into TopSky to stand for JHB (Johannesburg) SB1 shut down & replacement, then used the old SB1 radar to build the containerised transportable unit.
After that, Transportable was commissioned at Durban to vouch for DN Bluff shut down and replacement. Then the Transportable was moved to CT for the CT SB1 replacement which is the one you see here rotating at 15RPN providing a ATC update every 4 seconds.

Some of your old videos got marked "for kids" and i can no longer add them to playlists but far worse is that the entire comment history has been destroyed. Example of one video is the 1947 one on antenna design
