Hi it's great to hear a familiar accent, big hello from county Tyrone. Thanks for posting this. I have been in the PCP air rifle scene for a while, but I am beginning to get into .22lr target shooting. Currently I shoot a .22 FX Crown, 700mm barrel and I use an UK moderator made by A&G specialist gunsmiths called "The Marksman". This gun with a longer barrel and moderator work well together and and everyone can't believe how silent it is. I am beginning to research .22lr moderators. After you have lived a while with this product are you still happy with it? I was looking at Ruger, Precision, target rifles. I would be a bit concerned that the short stubby muzzle if the Precision would cause an issue due to the way the moderator overlaps the barrel . Great video thanks 👍
Hi there sorry for late reply!! I have been using wildcat for over 5 months now and believe that it is still much quieter that my previous moderator (SAK) the price difference between the two I would hope that there was a great difference. But the main sound now from the rifle is the sound of the hammer striking the rim of round. I can’t do a direct comparison because when you buy a new one I have to return the old AKG moderator to firearms dealer.
Bonjour vous utilisé un modérateur de son panther wildcat 17hmr avec une carabine 22lr et sa fonctionne ? Si je pourrais avoir une réponse cordialement
Bought one today for my 457, replaced a SAK. It is quieter by far. And yes, poa dropped about an inch at 50 yards.
