Hi sweet Amy - your front porch looks great. I watch another TH-camrs that I really like but she really decorates over the top. That is fine if that’s what you like but I like how even though you seem to use a lot more decor than I do your house still looks like a home instead of like a hobby lobby store. Maybe I didn’t say that right but it’s a compliment. I am very much a planner. My planner it’s never far from my side. That was even my job when I worked. I was a production planner for a large chemical company. Talk about a perfect fit. I also find the older I get the more necessary it is to plan because I don’t have the energy and stamina to do a lot at one time so I have to plan it out and spread it out. But guess what? I still seem to get it all done even though it’s at a slower pace. Ha ha. Love you little girl, you are a blessing to me. Love in Christ

I think Nyla was surprised when she came out cause you were out,you went in and closed the door and his face looked like he was thinking ..wait, what , what just happened ‘. Then went on sniffing .. I think he thought you were going to stay out.. lol.. so cute. Back to your porch , I love everything about it! The pops of red, the garland and lanterns , the trees, green and cranberries tree cones. All ties in. Then the coziness of your pillows and blankets. Just add that welcoming home, saying come and sit.

When you finished putting the pillows on the outdoor furniture I thought you were all done, and I was is awe of how beautiful it all looked. Then there's the ending part w/ you coming out the front door w/ the two red decorative items (I don't know what to call them) had me laughing. It was like the icing on the cake. Your videos always make me happy and inspire, but the verses are always extra special. Thank you!!!

I put led lights on my tree this year and a total of 800 lights. We took pictures after we got it decorated and in pictures it looked like some of the lights were out but they weren’t. We just couldn’t get over the pictures. Crazy. Lol. Porch is beautiful!

Fantastic job and great job on your house interior decorations as well! Loved watching these videos so very much. I can tell so much thought goes into your style and even neat to see you move into living room and dining room styled ways which are my favorite! I’m now working to choose just my favorite pieces and will basically decide 4-5 bins for Christmas and force myself to swap out or toss anything else. I want it fun to decorate not a chore and I’m so encouraged by your energy whereas I know the size of bins help limit me to an amount of items I can feel energy to go haul out and put up! Hi Amy. I've heard the shutter speed on a camera when filming can stop the flashing look. Lots of hints online that can help fix the problem. Personally, I think the flashing lights are cute. Lol. Looks lovely Amy! As for the flickering lights…the simplest way to explain it is that it has to do with how the electricity current flows vs the frame rate of the camera capturing the video. LED lights actually flicker all the time, but so fast our naked eye can’t usually see if. However, video is recorded using a series of multiple still images (remember creating “movies” as a kid by drawing a series of stick men in slightly different positions on a pad of paper and then running the edges through your fingers to make them move?) Anyway…your camera is capturing the on-off pattern of the lights. Sometimes they will be more in sync and you see less. Adjusting frame rate or shutter speed can sometimes help, but it’s something even movie pros face on occasion!
