It is for sure my favorite zone so far. Not the mobs, the mages are horrible, but I love the look and feel of everything. Imagine living in that castle in the middle of the spooky lake with the beautiful view. It's all so nice.
This boss is easy for players whose characters invest in strenght. I struggled with it as well, seeing that I am a mage. Other bosses like margit and Godrick I breezed past :)
It's awesome how for some people based on builds one boss may be easier or harder, took me 2 trys to beat her. She was by far easiest and yet I've had a harder time with others that people had easy times with...love it!
Rennala spanked me over her knee with her magic resistance. I'd been building hard magic since the start and I had to pull out some unupgraded bleed weapon and throw knives at her to put her down.
The funny part of the Rennala fight is the second half is probably an illusion created by Ranni in order to protect her. She wasn’t in any position to put up that much trouble.
@@FrogSl1me There are weapons with scarlet rot on them but they take very long to proc, if you have faith on your build try the rotten dragon breath, it's really good for applying scarlet rot.
I'm pretty much same build as chance but I happened to find the rock sling spell really early on when you get teleported there along with the staff and it made this boss soooooooooooo much easier. Pretty fuckin rough with only magic damage stuff and a weak physical like he has
This is the first From soft game I'm making a mage built for since the original Dark Souls. Sorcery was so broken in every other game. Its powerful here.
I died about 20 times before I learned her moveset and figured out what armor and weapons to use. I dont rage much while gaming but I dropped so many Fbombs lolol
I have killed maybe 30 or 40 bosses up to this point and so far she is giving me the most difficult time more than margit or the lord of the other castle.
Golden seeds found under the glowing gold trees are used to gain charges, Sacred Tears found in churches are used to improve them to gain more HP/FP per drink. Rest at a Grace and use them under the flask menu to improve them :)

Pro tip for everyone stuck at Renalla Wolf summon owns 1st phase and last into the 2nd Then obv for second phase just stay on top of her like perma stay on her ass and she can’t summon even if she does ignore it plus the wolves will help stagger
dude you were way to weak to go there yet. that health bar is so small, no wonder you stuggled with this place so much. but if you go there, levelled up, this is going to be your favourite place in the game so far.
Dude is in Azula with starting level vigor, I don't see the point in making the game more frustrating than it needs to be by dying to almost anything in one hit.
I just followed the recommended to find this video, don't know this channel at all, so I have no idea if I'm missing some context, but why was he getting so angry so quickly? Most people don't get mad on their first attempts at bosses and such even when playing normal games, let alone in one that's supposed to be at least fairly difficult. Is cursing and playing up being frustrated at a drop of a hat his normal online persona? Just seems a bit weird for someone employing the unnumbered heavily edited format to not throw in some lighter moments for the early part of the video to extenuate the actual rage inducing encounters.

I've been running a bleed and scarlet rot uild for this game and it just absolutely shakes sown bosses for their lunch money with tick damage

Finally an average gamer who actually struggles in this game. So tired of finding sweats who just say the game is easy.
Hence why you don't put all your stats into a single attribute or revolve your build around a certain element, you need to mix things up.
