Verrückt is my favorite map, even though it’s very difficult. I love the story behind Verrückt and I feel it’s a perfect place for a zombie apocalypse. Imagine getting taken to a mental sanatorium for like a tour and you get trapped because it’s abandoned. I just love the idea behind it and it’s a great map
Don’t think they would take anyone to your verrüct though, the nazis were experimenting there to it wouldn’t make sense if they just had tours . Cool idea though.

+Omaniac Games Well, to be fair Verruckt feels totally different with BO weapons in the box instead of WaW weapons (along with different characters), so it wasnt THAT big of a ripoff considering its different than the original. But I do agree, it isnt worth it if you already have WaW (otherwise, its worth it).
Alexander Stein Ah such a classic. My first map was kino but I got the resurrection pack and had some good times. I remember when I was new to zombies and I considered round 18 a high round. Now I am able to get to like round 45 on most maps. 😂
Me and a buddy used to do this shit on nacht where you wouldnt buy the stairs but youd buy the next room and the top room and sit in the corner with lmg next to the railing. Ine would be in front one would be in back and when the front had to reload the rear would come up and trade off. Round 20 easy. Then when wed get bored wed go trade the guns and train in the 2 separate rooms until we both died

The first time I ever died was in (Go ahead and kill me for it) Transhit. I got overrun by zombies on Round 5, I think. Since I was a noob, I didn't bother grabbing perks like Juggernog and Double Tap.
I remember playing Nacht der un toten with my dad when I was like 10. he was really bad lmao but id give anything to play with him again. If anyone reading this ever has kids make sure you do that Shit with your kids cause its one of my favorite memories.
God i remember being liike 9 or 10 and sitting on this big leather sofa with my dad and booting up the ps3 and proceeding to spend 3 hours of a school night trying to brake round 15

Just unlocked this from doing the Radio Frequency thing in Black Ops Cold War Outbreak and was hit with a wave of nostalgia. A song from what I consider the golden age of CoD hidden away with a little puzzle there to remind me of all those after school evenings me and my friends would camp out in the corner of Nacht seeing how far we could go made me happy from memories, but sad knowing we'll never really be able to do that again.
I remember so clearly. 5th grade. 2009. I just bought an xbox 360, and my best friend GAVE me WaW. The first 360 game I ever played. Nacht was the fist thing I ever experienced on my favorite console. That guitar riff in the beginning is ingrained in my memories. And the eerie music that plays as soon as you put the game in. Chills. Not to mention this game has the best cod campaign (its split-screen!). I can’t tell you how many times me and a buddy have played this game in the course of a day whenever we’ve been bored.

@@AWildWillow thematically it fits with zombies piano motif but it kinda just clutters and clashes with the vocals during the verses which is a shame. It's pretty clean in the original track though, maybe some bass fills would have filled the void better honestly since it is a little flat.

I remember the first time I finished campaign as a kid and then jumped straight to zombies.. the first map "Nacht der Untoten".The Intro really scared me and then I spawned and I was like "What? What is this? Where am I? And why there aren't any teammates with me?" I was so confused xD. And then I saw the zombies coming slowly to me, breaking the barrier and making those scary sounds.. I was so terrified, I tried to go upstairs, but it was blocked and I didn't have cash to go there so I just stood there for a couple of seconds and then I left the game. I was like 9 or 10 and my brother has just bought the game for the Xbox (he originally played it on the Wii like 6 years earlier) and him, my other brother, and I took turns playing for like 3 hours and it was such a good memory
When I was 10 or 11 after a school trip to a football game I came home to see my brothers playing kino I wanted to play till the 1st dog round I got scared after I heard that very familiar "FETCH ME THEIR SOULS" I freaked out and went to bed which led to a couple zombie themed nightmares

I am now about to graduate high school and I can’t express what I would give to go back In time to relive playing this game with him. Verruckt is definitely the scariest map of all, but I also loved this as the game over theme of Nacht. It's sad, perfectly gives off that feeling of 'You put up a good fight, but this was inevitable from the start.'

Verruckt was released, on March 19th 2009, 15 years ago from today, March 19th 2024 and what i wouldn't give to be playing zombies when this map came out, what an amazing 15 years lads, never let this game mode give up and die
I remember finishing the World at War story, and playing this weird little mini game at the end of it where you had to fight off zombies in a tiny little bunker. My how far we've come in 8 years. I've stuck around through the highs and lows and always have loved zombies and the convoluted and awesome story. Favorite map? Either Moon or Origins. I remember how excited I was to finally complete the Moon Easter egg and blow up the earth
When you listen with headphones you hear so much more hidden detail in every zombies song, makes them even better, especially since after you hear it with headphones you will never miss it on any speaker again

I have been going through depression for almost 10 years, every day it gets harder to keep myself alive, but the phrase "You will never give up and die" is something I always tell myself to keep going on, to never give up entirely of myself. we want zombies maps that inspire fear like kino verrukt and ascension. a custom zombie network would be cool. buyable endings more eastereggs good weapons. maps with a central train station and a bunch of close cornered areas to get there. so on.
sadly I think the line for new zombies is getting thinner and thinner here is a few reason the new extinction mode plus with the new map packs saying that they are all going to have wonder guns also back in black ops you destroyed the world and in black ops 2 you did maxi's or richtofen but in the end maxi's takes control of the world and changes how the tank and the other meet destroying the forces of evil tougher SOPILER ALERT at the end of origins Samantha is playing with a kid named Eddie so this could be an new story line or just the one we know to which it was just a game but I hope it is a new zombie story line because like you said zombies was the best and always will be!
Neal VB that zombies map was during WWI pretty much saying that all the quantum physical possibilities like time travel and multiple dimensions exists. its real and its not real. the story we know is one of many billion that they can expand to. if our REAL universe isn't the only one neither is the one in the game. also extinction didn't necessarily suck it was just something you weren't used to. if your a treyarch fan you probably won't like the way infinity ward does stuff.
The COD series of Zombies has the best songs! Apart from the Tranzit and Die Rise songs, you may like them but my opinion is that the Elena Siegman ones are better.
No question about it! While I respect Clark S Nova for his effort, I just can't stand one second of his nasal, lamenting voice. He sounds off-key and his voice doesn't fit Kevin Sherwood's songs at all.

When i think about the zombies story line coming to a end it brings tears to my eyes, we've come so far from theaters and zombie asylums to 115 mines and a distorted dimension. I remember the first time i saw the easter egg on moon...That is by-far the best easter egg we have ever had, blowing up the earth. We have gone far our characters have grown on us its sad to see it come to an end i have played every zombie map (yes tranzit to) and its sad to see the wonderful creativity of jason blendel and jimmy zelenski come to an end. Just unlocked this from doing the Radio Frequency thing in Black Ops Cold War Outbreak and was hit with a wave of nostalgia. A song from what I consider the golden age of CoD hidden away with a little puzzle there to remind me of all those after school evenings me and my friends would camp out in the corner of Nacht seeing how far we could go made me happy from memories, but sad knowing we'll never really be able to do that again.

I remember so clearly. 5th grade. 2009. I just bought an xbox 360, and my best friend GAVE me WaW. The first 360 game I ever played. Nacht was the fist thing I ever experienced on my favorite console. That guitar riff in the beginning is ingrained in my memories. And the eerie music that plays as soon as you put the game in. Chills.
Not to mention this game has the best cod campaign (its split-screen!). I can’t tell you how many times me and a buddy have played this game in the course of a day whenever we’ve been bored.

@@AWildWillow thematically it fits with zombies piano motif but it kinda just clutters and clashes with the vocals during the verses which is a shame. It's pretty clean in the original track though, maybe some bass fills would have filled the void better honestly since it is a little flat.

I remember the first time I finished campaign as a kid and then jumped straight to zombies.. the first map "Nacht der Untoten".The Intro really scared me and then I spawned and I was like "What? What is this? Where am I? And why there aren't any teammates with me?" I was so confused xD. And then I saw the zombies coming slowly to me, breaking the barrier and making those scary sounds.. I was so terrified, I tried to go upstairs, but it was blocked and I didn't have cash to go there so I just stood there for a couple of seconds and then I left the game. Verruckt is definitely the scariest map of all, but I also loved this as the game over theme of Nacht.

Verruckt was released, on March 19th 2009, 15 years ago from today, March 19th 2024 and what i wouldn't give to be playing zombies when this map came out, what an amazing 15 years lads, never let this game mode give up and die
I remember finishing the World at War story, and playing this weird little mini game at the end of it where you had to fight off zombies in a tiny little bunker. My how far we've come in 8 years.
I've stuck around through the highs and lows and always have loved zombies and the convoluted and awesome story. Favorite map? Either Moon or Origins. I remember how excited I was to finally complete the Moon Easter egg and blow up the earth
Origins was crazy. I usually die when I get trapped in the underground.

we want zombies maps that inspire fear like kino verrukt and ascension. a custom zombie network would be cool. buyable endings more eastereggs good weapons. maps with a central train station and a bunch of close cornered areas to get there. so on.
sadly I think the line for new zombies is getting thinner and thinner here is a few reason the new extinction mode plus with the new map packs saying that they are all going to have wonder guns also back in black ops you destroyed the world and in black ops 2 you did maxi's or richtofen but in the end maxi's takes control of the world and changes how the tank and the other meet destroying the forces of evil tougher SOPILER ALERT at the end of origins Samantha is playing with a kid named Eddie so this could be an new story line or just the one we know to which it was just a game but I hope it is a new zombie story line because like you said zombies was the best and always will be!

Neal VB that zombies map was during WWI pretty much saying that all the quantum physical possibilities like time travel and multiple dimensions exists. its real and its not real. the story we know is one of many billion that they can expand to. if our REAL universe isn't the only one neither is the one in the game. also extinction didn't necessarily suck it was just something you weren't used to. if your a treyarch fan you probably won't like the way infinity ward does stuff.

When i think about the zombies story line coming to a end it brings tears to my eyes, we've come so far from theaters and zombie asylums to 115 mines and a distorted dimension. I remember the first time i saw the easter egg on moon...That is by-far the best easter egg we have ever had, blowing up the earth. We have gone far our characters have grown on us its sad to see it come to an end i have played every zombie map (yes tranzit to) and its sad to see the wonderful creativity of jason blendel and jimmy zelenski come to an end. Treyarch if you see this i just want to say you have brought us on one heck of a ride through zombies and to you i salute thank you for everything treyarch
