I had been a loyal dyson buyer for years until I bought one that broke twice in the space of 6 months only to be told it wasn't designed for use in a family house...didn't mention that in the advert of course. Dyson has become overpriced tat

Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
Thank god for house husbands! I wasn't clear if the stretch hose connected to the existing hose or something else, and couldn't work out out from manual/vax website. This was a much better tutorial. The word you probably wanted was 'crevice' but no doubt you remembered it just as you were trying to fall asleep that night.
I bought this and was really impressed at first. People should not be making reviews until after at least a good few months of using. After a few months you come to the issue of cleaning the filter, what a nightmare, clean the filter in running water,ring out and dry, put back in vacuum and you can use it like once maybe twice before the filter needs cleaning again. After a year or so of use I had bought spare filters, threw the old one away, used cleaned filter and still sounds like the vax is struggling. Overall I would say it is just a make money quick scheme for vax. My mum gave me her old vax to me which was Orange upright, with paper filter, that worked longer and was much easier to use. This even as a new product was not as good as my mothers second hand vacuum she gave me which I used for a good 3 years. The only good thing is the suction is great but way too much maintenance.
my Dyson has also just stopped working as well, I cant justify the price for a new Dyson vacuum, so I am thinking about getting a vax instead, thanks for your review
Ive had mine for like 2 years now, really good suction compared to any other hoover that ive had. As long as you regularly empty it you wont have to be annoyed trying to clean it out because if you leave it too long its a nightmare to clean. For the brush part just use a small scissors and cut all the hair and just tug on it.
Had mine for some years now and trying to find how to dismantle the wand as the springs/rollers/catches no longer hold. Unable to find anything on You Tube for this particular Vax wand though there are others which are of no help.
One failing is the bin emptying , which I noticed was conveniently glossed over briefly , but not actually demonstrated. The splurge says the emptying without the need to ever touch the contents, but this just isn't true, unless the contents are only heavy grit or similar. Pet hair has so much static build up that it will not shake out without the contents going everywhere. However, with the use of a hair cleaning flexible spatula supplied with a Hoover washer vacuum, the job is easily done......Maybe you have a better way , but I did notice you mention the contents sticking too.
Took mine apart to clean filters and can't get the top back on properly so that it slots back into place.I have just wasted an afternoon, ok is going out with rubbish.
We've got one of these. It is absolute crap. It bungs up at least 3 times whilst using it. Then after 20 minutes use it overheats and have to leave it to cool down. The attachments are rubbish as well.
The VAX Air Stretch Vacuum cleaner is like a child’s toy!! After you have vacuumed a couple of rooms either the dust container is full or the filter needs cleaning. Easily the worst vacuum cleaner we have ever owned!
My Mums got one of these hovers as they are so light she can carry it up and down the stars. Her hover was clogged up, but everything unclips meaning I could remove the blockage asialy. Also, you can replace parts easily. I was so impressed with the hover that I brought one myself, after swearing at my unbranded hover for years.
Got one for free from Argos based on my “nectar points” so I had no costs. There isn’t a single time I am using it without cursing and promising myself to bin it and write a bad review! It has a beautiful design, it is heavy, takes double of the time of any other vacuum to clean the house, it’s time and electricity consumer! As soon as I reach enough nectar to get another vacuum cleaner this one will go to the bin with a note to the neighbours not to take it as they will regret! I’m on my second one of these, first one lasted for ages doing some serious cleaning, I’ve had Henry’s Dysons and a shark, this is as good as any of them, it is heavy but as for double the time to hoover the house, not sure about that to be fair!
Can u show how suction works by button pressing as i got it second hand from someone but when i bring home its suction is not working i think i pressed something wrong dont know 😢

I just bought one of these and I'm far from impressed (I've not used it and I'm not going to it's going back tomorrow) when you buy a vacuum cleaner all you want to do is plug it in and away you go so you get the job done in 5 minutes not 25, the instructions are terrible and everything is fiddly (a jigsaw) so to sum it up in one word 'Crap' you have been warned.

Nice video . It's very powerful. It is heavy to push it. It's just a hassle trying to remove hair from the brush bar .

You can use the top opener as well.
But how do you empty it when the dust clogs round the rotor?
