I think your info might be a bit misinformed. These vocals are provided by Jake Veredika, Periphery's first singer. While Periphery had yet to exist when Misha first incorporated Jake into the vocal spot on his first recordings, any track with Jake's vocals are mostly considered to be apart of the first "Periphery" songs.
I actually really like this, and I'm surprised I do, as I typically don't like that djent/metalcore, off-kilter tempo, meshuggah worship stuff, as it just sounds like the bands are trying too damn hard. I like that Bulb gave this a thrashier, groovier sound; it sounds great!
"Also this song isn't from any album... It's from the solo project of Guitarist Misha Mansoor. " Wrong. This track was being prepared to make the first Periphery album when all the shit went down and they had the issues with securing a full-time vocalist. Periphery played this live several times before then, with the clean vocals performed by Alex Bois.
Brod Lee You cherry-picked my statement in order to try to come off as "correct" about something. But you missed the actual meat-n-potatoes of my argument. He's still wrong in that this is *not* from Bulb/Misha's solo project. There is no point in trying to point out to me "so it isn't from an album" when I make that exact same argument in my own statement. Back to school with you!
Misha if you are reading this please remaster and re-release this exact cut. If you got to pay Chris then do it. The world deserves this one.
This wasn't Chris Baretto, this was before that. Jake Veredika.
Nope, I believe this is Jake Veredika on vocals here :P
kickass

where did u get this? i want on my mp3 O.o sounds so CO.OL!!!!!
@90fourninety This version is Jake Veredika. I thought he was an absolute beast. Didn't sing very much, but his lyrics were absolutely beastly.
Great, but I still recon the origional 'The Walk' ie. the one NOT on the album, is the greatest thing they have put out so far.
the orgininal Icarus Lives was pretty dope. As was the Walk with Chris Baretto. And that one song teaser they did with Casey Sabol.
