We thought we’d bring it back to North-Weezy for Season 8 Episode 11 (Transferable Skills) so we invited the one and only ‘Zee Zilli’ to share his story and after Manga mentioned him on the show a few weeks ago, we felt that now was the right time for him to do so.
Zee talked us through his upbringing, including school days, being on remand for murder and eventually getting a 10 year sentence for conspiracy to rob; to landing road, holding down a job and concentrating on his music and his family.
We then put him through his ‘RTM Fire Round’ before getting into some ‘Current Affairs’ and the main subject which was ‘Transferable Skills’. We had a break for ‘RTM Banter’ at some point and the ‘RTM Dilemma’ and ‘Book Suggestion’ closed the show as usual.
Yet another Realer Than Most conversation with lots of banter, real talk and transparency. The M Dot episode was definitely addressed.

I don’t really know the situation beforehand, but this episode seemed like a straight set up on Spray, maybe I wrong but even the energy of the guest was mad.
Also, if you listen to that guest story he basically ratted on his runners in one of those cases he got convicted for.

This transferable skill is a wash, a lot of what is done on road is done via fear and intimidation, you cant roll in the corporate world like that, there is HR, no HR on road

There ARE transferable skills as well tho. Google Street 2 Boardroom, for example.

There’s defo transferable skills involved. From organising people and their shifts, working out profit margins, reinvesting and most importantly hard work, most grind 7 days a week on road. No days off. Lots to transfer over
@@nathanj109 there is defo a few transferable skills but let’s not mislead the ute dem, it takes a different type of perseverance, organisation, patience and much more that the roads can’t teach you. It’s a lot deeper than flipping a brick and sending utes up suh, you can do well on the roads but starting a business is basically starting from scratch again. So it’s best you start from early so you can get most the lessons out of the way.
even a 9-5 can teach you certain things the roads can’t when your starting your journey as a boss in the legitimate world.
