We wanted to start off the New Year by giving out flowers to another one of our Legends, so make sure you don’t miss Season 8 Episode 8 (Talent Vs Hard Work) featuring the Legendary ‘Manga Saint Hilare’ from the Legendary ‘Roll Deep Crew’.
We feel like Manga is highly underrated and deserves a lot more credit and recognition for his contribution to the UK grime scene. One of the recent ‘Mobo Awards’ nominees that we actually agree with.
After talking us through his life story so far, including his upbringing, school days, how he joined ‘Roll Deep’ and a lot more; we put him through his ‘RTM Fire Round’ before getting into some ‘Current Affairs’.
RTM Banter was next, followed by the main subject which was ‘Talent Vs Hard Work’. The ‘RTM Dilemma’ and ‘Book Suggestion’ closed the show as usual along with some RIP’s & 3’s.
Manga has character in abundance and his sense of humour made for a great show! Yet another Realer Than Most conversation with lots of banter, real talk and transparency.

Manga has been overlooked forever. His talent and personality pushed past the conventional image. Great sit down, very likeable guy!
Manga deserves to win a MOBO he been shelling for years consistently.
He is a talented mc but to be blunt his image hasn't helped him in the industry at all, it's held him back a lot. He's not very marketable on the genres he does as you can't hold authenticity to any bars that may reflect badness.
