wow, sobbing as I just posted this video. it’s crazy how grief like this hits you, sometimes I feel lucky to have had THE best dad for 22 years of my life, and other times I feel extremely sad/ angry about how unfair it was to lose him. sorry if this video is all over the place, or I’m v emotional about AT&T lol, I’m sure you can all see where my emotions are really coming from💛
I’m so sorry that you are going through all this confusing emotional and difficult time. My condolences to you and your family as I know this never gets easier as time goes on. We’re all here rooting for you!!

I lost my dad 3 months ago to cancer, I’m 24. I watched your video about you loosing your father right before I lost mine. Your video was one of the only times I felt like someone knew what I was going through. Couple weeks before he passed I had him write the number 4 out and I got it tattoo on the left side of my left rest, it was my nickname from him because I was the fourth child. Thank you for sharing your story for people like me who need to know they aren’t alone during such a hard time. So much love to you. ❤️

what a special way to honor your dad
Gretchen....I am 65 yrs young and I have lost 2 younger brothers and both of my parents....my youngest brother died in a swimming accident when I was 21 yrs old ...my father died when I was 36 yrs old...my mother when I was 44 yrs old and my brother just younger than I am when I was 51 yrs old......and any given day over all of these years something here or there has triggered a memory that caused a hiccup in my day....I have learned to treasure them...for a moment or more that person is alive in my mind again.....it does get easier over time....but I am grateful for those moments and I cherish each and every one....I still have family,2 older brothers and scads of nieces and nephews and their families.......but the core group that I lived most of my life with are not here....I also have my boys.2 Maine Coon cats...brothers that I named Abbott and Costello so I always remember to laugh.....You are doing very well...and I hope you continue to do so, I am sure your Dad is looking down and seeing that his 3 girls are doing okay and his heart is glad for it....thanks for another good video and I am so pleased to see Lucy ,I have wondered how she is doing.....and I have seen the sweet times you have been with your mom and Teddy......take good care of yourself and those that you love.....
Lost my mom in April of 2017. I have always wanted a tattoo in memory of her and seeing yours just makes me so emotional. Grief is weird and hits you at different times. Love you girl we are in this together💓💓

I feel you when you say you get upset suddenly or the grief really hits you. I lost my dad in 2017 suddenly & I still feel like it can't be real. I constantly feel upset too because losing a parent at a young age just is not right! You got this girl-- he's proud of you for smiling every day.

Literally love how happy you sound while Max is dancing.💞💞💞 I was one who had a long distance relationship for a short amount of time and all I wanted to say is.. keep yourself busy.. it gets tough. And some days are worse than ever! You will get through it and your relationship will be so much stronger after. Just had our three year anniversary and now we’re welcoming a baby girl in November.

So much love for this!!! I lost my dad when I was 5 years old, so it's been 14 years without him and it never gets easy. But everything happens for a reason and I know they are looking down on us. I am stronger because of it and you are too!! Keep your head held high.
Gretchen i just want to say i am so so sorry for the loss of your dad. I lost my dad unexpectedly also when i turned 30. It was a big shock to have a dad with no issues and then boom he is gone. I just want to say to take all the time you need to grieve, you will never forget but your pain will get a little easier and i know your dad is so super proud of you!

I lost my best friend to a drunk driver 4 years ago and he was always at the beach the beach was his second home and where his ashes were spread so I’m getting a beach wave on the side of my wrist with his initials at the end of the wave! I can totally relate with you when it comes to those waves of emotions after you lost someone. I'm 22 years old too and I lost my mom to cancer 6 months ago. You feel like nobody understands what you're going through and how to handle it. It was especially heart for me to go through a break-up at the same time, because he didn't support me and my feelings at all. You are really lucky to have a boyfriend like Max and I hope I'll find a guy like him in the future, too. I wanted to post this to show you that you're not the only one in a situation like this and that I get you 100%. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, I'm from Germany and you are American, but in the end we are all the same when it comes to stuff like this. I hope that it gets less hurtful eventually...

I do sugar in the Raw. Its real sugar, basically like courser brown sugar. My fave, I dont do just regular white sugar, too fine and dissolves too quickly.

I got my first tattoo at stingray and they did a HORRIBLE job and treated me like shit. I have a lot of tattoos from another place in Harvard square now but never ever will go back to stingray. when you said you were there I got so stressed for you but I'm glad you had a good experience :)

I live in Providence and I'm so sad I didn't know you were here! Wish I could've met you... ironically was at the mall the day before you haha.. also a bit of advice with the splenda and stevia from a former baking and pastry student, they are both artificial sweeteners and used to be illegal because they weren't regulated by the FDA. It isn't good for you because most of it is actually indigestible. In my opinion, real sugar is actually more natural and better for you than the fake stuff! Hope that helps a little! Love you!
