That arm looks straight out the movie 🎥 this is really really good I wish that I have that arm you did a fantastic job on this Terminator Arm this is sooo breathtaking oh my goodness.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Fantastic work! Just started printing this for my father. He's coming up 70 and is a massive terminator fan. Hoping to have it printed and painted by xmas. Might i ask how long it took you? If mine turns out to look anything like yours he's gonna be a happy old man 😂
Thanks man. Really appreciate your comment. The great thing about this piece is that you don't need to do heaps of post print work like sanding because it all blends in. It didn't take long to be honest as you can nest a lot of bits on the bed at once. TIP 1: use satchel bags that are labeled to put the contents of each finger, section in. 2: when final gluing fingers in position, hold up your own hand and mimic and glue how you want them. Sounds silly but it works.
Hello, I'm referring to the nails on your work station in the video. And also the build instructions from thinguniverse call for small nails, the only idea I see would be using the nails as pins to assemble the fingers?
@@s0nic42o ah those nails. Sorry it has been a while since I made this. Yes, they are used in the knuckle sections as pins. Cut to width so they don't stick out the other side.
I don't know how I can help to be honest. I just looked at the images carefully to assemble the parts. For finger lengths, compare to your own hand. I found that useful for positioning.
To be honest i can't remember. Its been a while since i printed it. I used two printers also. 1.75mm filament for the main components and resin for the small detailed bits. But for a guess...half a role or less maybe???🤷♂️
lol just watched your video, and didn’t realize I commented 4 years ago. Again nice work! I would still love to get my hands on one. I wish I knew some of the collectibles were available back in the day!

Do you do custom work for people ?? I would love a arm and head of the terminator
No sorry I do not.
What are those red tunes you used? I'm getting ready to put my arm together.
Those are the pistons but I printed them in resin as the rest is printed in pla
@@Bur91a So just the red tubes were resin. Think the whole thing could be done in PLA? Don't have a resin printer...
@@AusOak75 100% it can all be done in PLA. I got the resin printer mid way through so that's why I had mixed parts.
Amazing, loved it :)
Iv just purchased my 3d printer. How much filament did you use in this project? Thanks
If i took a wild guess, maybe half a roll? Maybe less 🤷♂️
I used resin as well.
Look so good! where did you get the glass vase covering the arm?
From Ikea dude. I believe the type of vase is covered in the Thingiverse link.
Happy printing!
Great job, someone know where i can to find they file?
I put a link in the description. 🙈
Good video.....
is there any assembly instruction anywhere in the net?
I'm not to sure if there was one on the Thingiverse page I got it from. It was a long time ago.
@@Bur91a didnt find any there…
Yeah, I'm also looking for instructions 🧐
@@parlundkvist1865 Kal El has a video where you can see it step by step -> Terminator Arm 1:1 Live Size 3D Printed
WOWWWW
Too fast. Wanted to see how it was done. Just blurred images. Nice finish though
It's called a time lapse.
The video would be way too long if done in real time.
Where do the nails go? This is amazing.
What nails are you referring to sorry?
