Thankyou. It's great when it works and frustrating when it doesn't. A camera with an auto fast jet tracker would be good, but probably unaffordable as they probably only exist on guided missile systems?

what software do you edit 4k with ? and what pc ? mine would struggle im sure

I'm using Apple iMovie 10.1.7 (the latest) on an Apple iMac Mid 2011 desktop. The iMac processor is a 3.1ghz Intel i5 with 12gb memory. The iMac has a 1 TB hard drive. I find that you have to keep at least 100gb free on the HD to ensure optimal performance. I back up and save everything to external hard drives after editing and uploading to ensure that the main hard drive stays free.

thanks a lot, my panasonic 4k says it recommends at least 8gb ram and an i7 processor i have a windows pc & fully expect Microsoft will find a way to kill my pc if i try to edit in 4k lol
