- Zlitchro Demitro was my Great-grandfather, Among the Roma He was known As O Chief-O or Zlitchro O Poor-ow. He came from Serbia Russia around late 1800 through Ellis Island N.Y. with his 4 Brothers Grofeeia, Zooka,Butchie, and Waso. He went on to North Dakota where he became friends with a Lawyer named Elias S. Root who later in the 1900;s be came the Secretary of State. Elias S. Root helped him to bring and settle many Roma from Europe into U.S. and Canada. Elias S. Root around 1920's presented him with a Solid Gold badge that is in scribed with the name Chief on the back it read King of the Gypsy's. Later on my Grandfather Yevremo from my Father's side presented that badge to the Honorable Tom Stanley and it still remain in our family till this day. This is all documented history of a gypsy family known as Mean-estee Canadzo

This is your vada Tamara (Tammy) Doacha and Garys, Toma Stanley's grand daughter.I love the pictures shey. I have some of them and will be posting as well. You have some that my mother lost in the flood, I am glad that one of out family has them. Shey doomoot ky chi deeklem tumai. I pretty much know every single person in all your pics, lol. One correction though...I think; "Kitka" was the name of my Papo Toma's father, not Speedako. We all miss every one very much. GBU

Thanks for the comments, we did lose too many... young and good... but I'm glad we had all these pictures, so we can remember them when they were Healthy and Beautiful....

@sezitall I do not know how many but if you look up Sugar Stanley from Detroit (Romanichal),I believe you will see more on the history and migration of his tribes. Ironically,my grandfather and he were very good friends.

@sezitall Yes they are real Monkies and that is my grand father The honorable Tom Stanley, my mother was his oldest daughter. They are, we are Karldarash. Georgia is beautiful for posting these pics and I love as well that our family is coming to see and find one another. Hey Georgia, I was just with Sabrina and Doacha Petes and they say hi.
The picture at 8:07 (Temple of Knowledge) is from left to right; My Uncle Ronnie (Toma Stanley's youngest son) My momee Nastasia, Yanna (Annie, Ronnie's daughter First grand daughter of Toma Stanley) My bebe Jo and my Father Gary at the end. @sezitall That is interesting that you should ask because just recently one of my cousins from the Stanleys Karldaras (sorry spelled it wrong before), told me a short and fast story we did not have much time to get into. Basically it was some decent evidence indicating that the Stanleys from England, the Romanichals (whom have always been thought of and live separate from us), do have some ties to us from again several several generations ago.

@498562060 Hi pejo, just wondering. I had always been told by Momma, Pete, Johnny and a few other aunts and uncles, that Mina (Mineshti) came from papo or baro Kako Mina; many generations ago. I believe before we even came into Canada or the united States. Got any info on that to the contrary? GB you and all of your family.
