Got the series 9 in Jan, I have no complaints and there’s no reason to upgrade for slightly bigger screen and thinner size. + the 46mm looks ginormous what the hell
Originally pre-ordered the series 10 but then I compared it to series 9 outside of some few display upgrades making it thinner I just cancelled and ordered a series 9 off Amazon which was discounted and includes 2 years of apple care plus for less than the 46mm
@@1506Jimbob the bigger display of the 46mm and thinner overall dimensions. I like the wide oled display but it still only offers 18 hours of battery life and the s10 doesn’t seem like much of an upgrade over the s9 chip. The sleep apnea detection is coming to series 9 also. So for me I just decided to get a series 9 45mm at the discounted price that included 2 years of Apple care plus then the price of newer 46mm
Very happy with my Series 8. I was fully going to upgrade if it would've had a bigger battery. 10% thinner? Yeah let me hold it at a very specific angle so others can see how thin my new Series 10 is lol. I would call the design a major minor upgrade.
I have a Series 7 from 2021 & still not sure if this is worth an upgrade, considering this was a monumental version introducing a curved-edge display, a Keyboard with swipe, 1mm larger design, crack-resistant front crystal & Fast Charging for the first time with USB-C.
I have pre ordered Series 10 Natural Titanium. Currently have my trusted Series 7 in Midnight Aluminum but its about time to upgrade since I have been eyeing the stainless steel before.
Updating from series 9 to the 10. Looking forward to a thinner watch. I have the 45 now and hope the 46 isn’t too much bigger but love having a bigger watch face in my old age!!😂
@@Stoneabba9999no chance lol. It’s 30% bigger than the series 5, 6, etc. The screen is technically bigger than the ultra 2, but it’s not noticeable at all to the naked eye
I believe the watch will definitely last longer. You always put a phone down somewhere, take it out of your pocket, etc. It is therefore much more exposed to friction. The watch, on the other hand, stays on your wrist the whole time.
Thank you for explaining the bezel situation. I thought I was going crazy that the bezels looked thicker. They are, which sucks, but at least the frame is getting thinner

Yeah this is indeed one of the best updates in Apple Watch history. Much better than the Series 7-9 which weren't really upgrades at all. So yeah if people have a series 6 or lower than this is actually a noticable upgrade
I preordered the 42mm series 10. Excited but kind of worried it’ll be too big and look ridiculous on my wrist. I have the 40mm series 4 now so it’s gonna be a big jump. Hoping it works out.

5:30 Both new watch faces are available on my Series 9 as well. They even tell me the Photos watch face is new, but its likely the redesigned version they introduced recently
The reason the Apple Watch Ultra has a bigger face and I hear people say they can’t complain. They can’t pull their shirt over the top of it. Is because the bezel is thicker the metal is up around the crystal to protect it from damage. The ultra watch was designed for extreme sports And that’s why the extra thickness of the watch is quality for sure and it’s gonna last a long long time Apple Watch 10 is thinner, but it can scratch and bend and can cause all kinds of damage to it. The whole saying you pay what you get is true
i wonder if it will be bad for the battery - the quicker charging, and how much extra battery the always on display will use with the faster refresh rate
I'm coming from a Series 3. I decided to jump in on this one. I'm wondering if they sort out the legal stuff with the O2 sensors if that's something that can be enabled on my 10. Can't imagine they are making versions with and without the sensor and probably just disabling in software.
