Silicone spray keeps alot of the water away, it acts like a repellent. Used it alot on my RC cars to keep moisture out of the electronics. But I dont think it will fix the puddles of water gathering in the "pits".
I don't ever calibrate them because it really doesn't matter. The only time it would matter is if you are using it for sighting in hunting rifles or something where you need to make sure the elevation and windage are dead on for a given range. For target shooting it doesn't matter.
I’m sorry about the dead air. In reviewing my targets there were some unfortunate words from other people that got picked up and I didn’t do a voice over on the final targets.

Yeah we’ve tried that plus a few others. Like you said they all help to some degree but the standing drop of water is the killer.
Do you have to calibrate the shotmarker everytime you use it? Or if you put the paper in the correct spot is it pretty close?
