twilight masquerade was shit on by everyone including myself. I finally had to buy a case at 560 tik tok deal. Was positive Id get this for under 80 lmao!. how wrong I was and I faded the greninja at 100 . Crazy how you just have no idea sometimes

Exactly, this is why I’m more or less going the Ruby route going forward, just get a bit of everything for exposure. Then if I feel good about a set going a bit heavier.

I loved the set before it even released. But I am mostly a collector and not an investor. I am a baby investor. Card art is purely subjective, and most people online for some reason say every set is garbage. Twilight has a lot of great card arts, the Greninja looks amazing. The online community shitting on it were out to lunch.
Idk man. I liked twilight before it released, really nice arts all around! But I just CANT get behind the greninja…. Literally looks terrible to me…. Art is subjective but DAMN…. There’s NO WAY greninja deserves to be currently highest valued SV card… just NO way….. it looks sooooo bad :/
I think the Bubble Mew is still very undervalued. I could see that card going up in the near future and great long term potential
I agree, it’s one of my favourite cards and is really unique. Kind of surprised it’s not $100+ card atm
I HATED this set (twilight) before release… but I’m so bias now. Only ever opened 2 BB from this set and both I pulled 2 two biggest chase cards. Now I love this set and bought a case of BB for cheap 😅😂
I might nab a few more Twilight Masquerade boxes. I've loved the art since before it even launched, but didn't think it'd stay this strong. I gotta stop listening to so much of the online discourse with sets. Since it really feels like everyone online just hates every set. People still saying S/V has the worst art, and imo it's the best art Pokemon has ever produced for their cards. I need to trust my gut a little more on how I view these sets. I was very excited for TM before it released, and now it has the best chase card of the S/V era currently.
That greninja is literally booty… and not in a good way…. I can’t believe it’s the most valued SV card…. Literally criminal…. 5-10 cards that deserve that title before the greninja….. I’d pay like $40 for it…. But I’m realllllllly not feeling the art…. It’s maybe worth $100 but first SV card to breach $200 is comical….. it’s not THAT cool, greninja is popular but he’s top 10 at best, gaurenteed NOT top 5….. but what do I know… I’m a Karp fan….

But you seriously think it’s okay for greninja , less than a month old, to be the HIGHEST valued SV card, ever, to date? Greninja is a top 3 or top 5 all time favorite Pokémon? He’s up there with charizard , umbreons?!?!! Dude the greninja promo coming out looks cooler than the card…. A PROMO looks cooler than a sir…. it’s just insulting to every other set out there…
Can’t BELIEVE this shitty card is #1…. I can’t believe it….. I’d take the Groudon from PR over greninja…. Hell I’d take the $30 151 alakazam or the 151 mew and mew two promos over the greninja…. I refuse to believe the majority of pokemom fans LOVE this greninja…. 🤷♂️
@@TheSnackAttackingSnorlax Give it 2-3 months time, and I believe it won't hold at $200, I'd guess at max, $100 but personally I'd say more like $60-$80. But thats just me guessing :P
It's all about the pull rates like it or not. I've personally pulled 3 151 Charizards out of maybe 400 packs opened? I am still hinting the karp tho but even that isn't an SIR so pretty much 2nd or 3rd most valuable card in S. V era is a IR...
Greninja will hold at around 130-150. Low print for TM and some of the hardest pull rates. It’s all about scarcity and fan favourite Pokémon in what constitutes a high value card

Yeah, down below $200 USD now. But it is the summer months, a lot of shit is and was expected to drop, or at least stagnate. It's why I've started buying booster boxes now. Once September/November comes around we'll see a rise in prices again.
