I think this is like one of the neatest things ever created! I purchased it as my first REAL pedal. It's so much fun it's ridiculous! Thank you! Grown up life can be a drag sometimes... your invention makes me want to play, create, get lost... like I did as a kid! Thanks!!
I love your videos, Bill! That string quartet was delicious. I would love to see a Super 360 with midi and cv syncing, tap options, exp options, etc.... like the 8 Step Seq and the Super Pulsar. But mostly I would love to connect it to a Clockworks.
hello, if you press the footswitch twice, it overdubs immediately at all cases? i mean isnt this (double press of the footswitch) the way most loopers switch off? Sorry if i'm not getting sth right
When I try tap the switch twice quickly to get a 'hold function' style sound, the 360 seems to want to record for at least a second before it begins the loop. This way I can't get the rapid fire sound I want, instead I get the chord, then silence, then the chord again. I want to replicate the Eric Johnson style thing where he used the hold function on his MXR rack. Any ideas?
you have to be playing when you press the button. If you press the button THEN start playing then you will get that delay. You need to time everything perfectly to use loopers.
I am a huge Boss fan, but I must admit that EHX has turned my head with this and the Synth 9. Looks like I'm gonna be broke for Christmas lol. How long can a loop last? When performing the swells, what other effects were you using?
Could I connect my iPhone/iPad to an audio interface and run the main speaker out to the input of the 360 to get sounding drums tracks on the pedal? Or is there another way to hook up the audio interface to the pedal for same results?
When you hook up the phone, is this just a line out from the headphone output into the looper - 3.5mm or whatever the headphone size is, to a 1/4" input jack? Could you do the same with an iPod?
Hey Bill, I'm trying to use this for samples like the drum example you had. What adapter should I use if I'm coming out of a phone like your demo. I'm hoping any 3.5mm into mono will work.
Great video. That’s a pretty good quality sound coming from the pickup to the phone. In other videos the sound quality wasn’t as good. In the video what is the iphone connected to? Looks like you have a cable going out of the headphone jack to something. Thank you.
Hi, I'm guessing that the switch is activated on release so can you hold it down ready to let go or does it have to be one swift motion? Secondly, does overdub start/stop have to be in perfect time? For example, can you click the switch a second or 2 before the loop restarts/cycles and it automatically just records over the original. Cheers

fuck when the pitch shift kicked in it gave me chills...it sounds exactly like an orchestra in some sort of epic movie soundtrack
You are a master Bill! Fantastic stuff!
4:03 ..this is the sound i am going for.. Bill, you made my day
I was just rewatching Twin Peaks and thought of that cool video you did. I was hoping you'd be putting something out soon. Yay you did!
great tricks with the pitch fork! my favorites are glissando chords and the trick with the sequencer
Another entertaining demo! Great job Bill!
If I ever make a movie, the soundtrack will be by Bill Rupert, only Bill Rupert.
When he pitch shifted the first bit.. dude.. my jaw dropped.
alexander dreveros rewatching this again now.. blew my mind again..
Great, great stuff, sir! Just terrific!
Nailed it again, Bill!
I wanted that "string quartet" bit to go on for ten minutes.
I had one of these and sold it, didn't know it was capable of some of these functions lol...may have to get another one

excellent video& great fretwork...
Good video. Just got one. Thx.
the ebows came out years ago...had one when they first came out, I was surprised to find out they were still around
Holy crap. 2:08. I've never heard a strat sound that good! How do I make this happen?! haha
granted this is TH-cam audio, but sounds like he has a compressor set just right, with some type of echo with a hint of modulation.

+Kevin Coin The 360 needs abt a second...
How did you know I wanted to see the 8 step into the pitchfork? Thanks!
That's Some Crazy Cool Shit ! :) Great demo !
Good video. Since I am a guitar tech, I can really appreciate cool videos like this!have a great day! #guitarist
When I record a loop there’s a slight delay before the loop starts how do I get rid of the couple second silence before it starts again?
you have to be playing when you press the button. If you press the button THEN start playing then you will get that delay. You need to time everything perfectly to use loopers.
Just get good at timing it. It's hard but do able
If the 360 is like the 720, it starts recording the loop when you lift your foot off the switch, not when you press on the switch.
FANTASTIC!!!
how do you connect a device to the 360 for drum patterns
Use a cable from the headphone jack to a quarter inch connector into the pedal
This is some kind of (awesome) witchcraft. Great stuff.
about drum loop trick: if you play in your phone drums in 120 bpm, can u record a perfect loop in the same tempo? does it have a quantize function?
I had one at one point it stopped working out of nowhere, thinking about getting another
Don't need an E Bow I can use my Mel9.. 🤔
I am a huge Boss fan, but I must admit that EHX has turned my head with this and the Synth 9. Looks like I'm gonna be broke for Christmas lol. How long can a loop last? When performing the swells, what other effects were you using?
Chris for the strings I used an Ebow. For volume swells I used a volume pedal.
For pitch effects I used a Pitch Fork.
Amp was a Kemper
Can I record any sound I want in this pedal? Connecting a iPod on input pedal and recording... Will it work good?
+Del Rei Yes! It works great!
How did you get the drone to work seamlessly? In any get it without there being a gap between where I stop and where the loop started
Yu record over the loop end point to make it one long loop the

+Fred Smith Yes! Just use a 1/8" out to a mono 1/4" guitar style plug. any phone will work.

+Hendrix G That should be fine! I used a 1/8 stereo out of my Iphone to a 1/4 jack.
+EHX does this record the drum loop immediately?
Can you simulate Frippertronics with this?
Hi! How you conected the phone to pedal for dowland the drum looper?
I held the iphone speaker next to the guitar pickup.
@@EHX thanks, I can't see the guitar in this escene

Exactly how do you swell the notes in with a volume pedal and set the loop of only a few seconds? Gotta be Gregory Hines or have a helper, huh?
You create the loop first with out playing and then start to swell the notes in.
All with one foot.
Hi! What effect are you using at the beginning of this video on your guitar!? Thanks
The drone after the drum hit was a freeze pedal
Please, tell me what do you use in 1:58? Is it just a looper, or plus some modulation/delay effects? It sounds amazing!!
Its the Looper with a Kemper Amp. The delay may have a little mod dialed it. Thanks Livsie!
what is the device you used foy synthesising??
+ŞİNASİ ATAÖV Its called an Ebow. It drives the string with magnetism.
awesome
Would these tricks work with the looper on the Grand Canyon?
Yes!
Cool! Thanks a lot! Y’all make great stuff...
All that with just one button.. gotta get me one
is the 360 for bass gtr also?
Yes!
Can you simulate Frippertronics with this? It's a hell of a lot cheaper than the TC Electronic Ditto X4 Dual Looper Pedal...
Dont see why not...
EHX Thanks!
Would all these methods work with the 720?
Yes!

What kind of drum loop you use in your iPhone?what program? Thanx

🤯 you just did what?
i need this
nice
And what kind of beautifully deformed beast was that last ibanez looking guitar?
It's an Ibanez RG 550 XH
Thanks
Hi EHX, what's your signal chain with the pitch fork ? always before the looper ?
Jules if you want to change pitch of your loop like I did, place the Pitch Fork after the looper.
Quanta roba!!
wished the 360 had at least a reverse setting.
Was that Chef Boyardee at the begining?
+Jim Harris No Its the very famous magician Harry Blackstone. He is right after Houdini in time and popularity.
:) I'm never more stupid than when I try to be funny. Thanks! Lol!
+Jim Harris HA But It does look like the chef!
This one goes to eleven! =)
EHX box 360
so, 6 minutes, huh? why every single demo and jam uses 10 SECONDS, tops?
***** There are 11 slots to store loops. All part of the 360 seconds.
ouh... ok. so each depletes the 360 total, pretty cool. thanks!
Is this analog?
Loopers will always be digital as it could never be done in the analog domain.
Guy's a pedal savant
