I just did the first battle in the demo and was so confused when it kept telling me to “Drop the Beat”. I was like, I would totally love to drop it but I have no idea wtf you’re talking about, Game 😂 I just kept mashing buttons until it was over but yeah… I thought I was gonna die in the first battle of a demo lol. I mainly play turn based RPG so this is gonna take me a minute to get used to. Thanks for your help!
U can attack with everyone at once if u want. I like to do a mash combo while I charge an attack, but you can totally do all 4 at once. Probably. I never tried it cuz my brain don't work like that
I go with two at the same time, with "rapid tap" pins assigned to X and Y and "hold pins" assigned to R and L or ZL and ZR (I'm at day 2 of week 2, so four characters): get the pin charged to max and initiate the beatdrop, then hit with the rapid tap. It usually works really well for me, but I really need to remember to make the party eat.
Can i ask, after i hit A for the mashup, what do i do then? I just keep doing normal combos and alternating when i drop the beat??? Theres nothing else to it? I dont understand how to do the finishers that are listed in the menu of the pins... help?!?!
There's not a specific thing you need to do after you start a mashup. Think of it like a super move that activate, however the smart move would be to still fight while it's activated. Especially with the temporary damage boost. Finishers are just what actually activates the beatdrop indicator. doing only like 2 slashes with a pin won't let it pop up, you need to do the full combo
my save data mysteriously disappeared and I was almost at the very end. I REALLY dont want to have to go back and play all the way through again. I might just watch the end on YT
Do you know what count as negative ailment? Do chain, ice and rock immobilization count as negative ailment? I want to know what can be affected by Ailing Ailment abilities from pants

I'm at week two and was wondering how to permanently increase the stats, didn't realize that food did that! I thought it was a temporary boost.
Yup for both the first game and for neo, the food buffs are permenant and are how you "level up" your other stats that aren't HP!

Yes you can, though depending on your set up that could be either a detriment or a valuable asset

It's most likely things like poison and the electric ailments
@@oluvids so it's the same as perpetual pain? And the only difference is ailing ailment increase the chance and perpetual pain increase the duration?
