Hello. Tell me please. If the soil of a nishiki pine does not dry out closer to the tree trunk, should it be watered that day?
Use a chopstick to poke several holes to the pot hole from the base of tha trunk to improve drainage.
@@bonsai-haruyoshi Thank you, it seems like this is really the only way, but I doubt that I can do it with a chopstick. The soil is very compact, it looks like garden soil and has never been changed.
@danhip2442 I think it is the best to repot it. But it is not now. Pine trees hate too much water, so be careful with drainage.
