I have been trying to make a mushroom bucket hat for the longest time. Usually I’m able to think up an idea or see a picture and just do it but I just couldn’t get it the shape I wanted. THIS is the exact shape I wanted and I appreciate you SO much. I ended up giving up on the project cause I couldn’t get it right. Now I can start back up again thanks to you!! :)

I have made 3 hats from pattern, using multicolor yarn (easier for me :) ). Minor changes in brim chains (increases and length) and it looks so good. Also, instead slip stich as last row, I have added crab stitch.

This is a great tutorial but I did not have six colors so I used three like you said I could at the start of the video so when I followed the tutorial there were a bunch of string crossing each other while I changed colors
I love your TikTok’s and watch them all the time but this was sort of confusing because I’m so used to tutorials saying “increase 1, DC 2” it was difficult when you said “1 2 and 2 into 1 for increase” 😅 But great tutorial!! I figured it out ❤
For some reason my hat is not rounding and curving in the way yours is. I didn't use the same size yarn for all the colors, but they are relatively close. Do you think that could be why?

I saw your short where you alternated between colored yarn and black yarn. Do you snip the black after every section to prevent jumps in yarn or do you crochet over the black to carry it over?
I’m doing 4 colours 😅 I must be crazy I’m going to have to stitch over each loose thread to get it to the next colour change spot as I’m repeating one line of thread three times each round. Send help

@@patimakiki8402 I'm not sure if it's referred to as "ply", but every ball of yarn will have a number on the label, usually 1-6. 4 is the most common type, it's what most people would consider to be "normal" yarn
