These last three months I’ve been trying to do it bx I’ve gotten to the point where that trick can shorten a fight against certain bosses a good amount, relatively speaking. Hundreds of tries later I had done it three times, or maybe just two. Not a single button press is wasted.
Incredible seeing the technique on taking down DoS. It’s one thing do a perfect deflect on every attack.. it’s a whole different league when you figure out a way to maximize damage/deflect per second; without taking damage as a factor. Best Sekiro content creator!
Ongbal could totally do this boss fight without umbrella or healing gourds. But seeing him clown on demon of hatred is *so* damn satisfying. Thanks for the show

So I know the finger whistle makes animals go crazy, but would it also have significance since his training partner used to play it in the Sunken Valley? Is that why he reacts so harshly to it?
You can't parry the slam attack with umbrella without taking dmg? It was an amazing fight doe. Is there a possible way to negate the lightning chip dmg during lightning reversal? I know that mistraven and the special combat art negates it but with only your sword can you avoid it? You are the best player on the planet I had to ask you ❤
I wonder if there is a way to dodge this fall and explosion without a damage or pushing wolf away by the wind. I tried mist raven but the wind still pushes me away.
@@Excalibur-je5pk Yeap. I already do like that. I haven't precise in my question. I've tried to parry or dodge his land without damage in order to speed up the run.
We honestly needed more demons in boss fights. Instead we got 3 ishins, 3 genichiros, and 3 forms of Owl and even 2 different boss fights with the ape. Then a couple of stupid “boss fights” .We were robbed of so many new boss fights
I honestly think that Ongbal would have tons of fun playing some other similar games. They're also hard, Ghostrunner is awesome. Its' short, but the depth of combat is high, and its' somewhat similar to Sekiro. Then you have Dark Souls 3, which speaks for itself, but isn't the same as Sekiro. One of my favorites is Hyper Light Drifter, its 2.5d Pixelated awesomeness, the game is refined to a razors' edge in terms of combat, if you miss a strike, you won't have time to get your next one off before you die. The game is extremely difficult, in fact, less than 30% of players have beaten the game. Hollow Knight is also awesome, its a Metroidvania thats' drenched in theme.

The reason why the boss is called "Demon of Hatred" not because of Sculptor's bad karma but because of his inability to hit Sekiro.

There's only way negate lightning chip damage is sakura dance or mist raven. No other way sadly.

There is. Just run in the opposite direction when he jumps then jump and grapple to him when he lands
