I absolutely LOVE the AI in this game, purely for how unpredictable it can be. Nothing like seeing one of the characters just crash into a wall, flip upside down and just skid down the track like that....It's even better when it's a character like Shadow.
You have moments like that in All-Stars too. I race as Amy cause she's my favorite character and on the shrine map I tried to go a different path from all the AI and collided with Shadow, but his vehicle power pushed me into a rock and made me do two flips before landing perfectly back on the path again 😂
Even though this is my least favorite Sonic Racing game, I must admit that I'm impressed by the huge amount of dialogue there is on the game. Every character gets unique interactions with all of the other. Except for Metal Sonic

I would love if this "jerk" side of Shadow - him making fun of others was for his own entertainment rather than being mean for real. It would fit his philosofical side. Sad they actually make him mean to others for no reason.
To be honest, Sonic is the biggest jerk in the campaign. He literally won’t stop his ego-competition with Shadow, and completely ignores the fact that Eggman is around just so he can plow through the competition. Oh and he also tried trash talking Silver when he was having a moment

I swear, not once has the AI for Shadow attack me when playing as one of them, provided I have not attacked him first. And even if I have, sometimes he just seems to choose not to hit me. But if I play as anyone else, he usually will take shots, but I've never seen him ram anyone into a wall or anything like that.
So at the very least, he tries to behave like a gentleman. :) For the ladies, anyway. For the dudes, it's fair game. Hah. But if what you mentioned is part of the game, I like that little detail.

I mean, the game is still a bit rough around the edges, don't think it had enough time to get fully polished up. But yes, if it was intentional, that is an interesting point.
The fact that Sonic says "furry blue hand" tells us that his hands are, in fact, blue *and* furry underneath those gloves... I don't know how to feel about this information

because these are actaully the rules, also don't underestimate sonic's speedster car it's actaully almost as fast as him and sometimes sonic wants to rest his feet.
