I went when Dessis Priddle And clive skelton...(i may have the names wrong)...they used to drive what was called then AA fulers...My fav was A mini van called Stripteaser...this must be all of 50yrs ago....We used to camp for the 2 day events and had to stay in the car as rival cycle gangs shot at each other over the tops of our tents...Those were the days
when you burn out the tires ... don't go too far from the grid....it gonna pissoff staff and audiences, soon someone gonna ask you to leave the dragstrip if the trend keep repeat over and over again...
@@mk1kieran you lies I don't believe you...most UK people are lazy and no way they can tolerate....binger burnout and far distance burnout is different...you know what I said it true but you denied it...am I right till here?...if I'm right we can continue with a little bit longer comment.
It serves a purpose, those big burnouts leave a tyre compound on your line and when you get backed up by your linesman he directs you so that when you launch you get slightly better traction.
There was about 50 people there for the garbage Sportsman" Nats today, 🤣too many boring class' at a main event now. . Jet cars with all the pomp and ceremony, , jr crap, terrible for a weekend. Pod was fantastic in the 80/90s none of this PC corporate crap existed, you could cook in a hand dug firepit, play loud music and everyone joined in all night, drink out of a glass even, 🤣
Great as always.
Nice to see different cars and again shame the weather stopped this class too
Thank you, yeah a few new ones to Santa Pod Raceway. Shame the weather stopped it as there was sound great matchups for the next round.
Thank you kieran
Pod looks well.
vids are always a pleasure to watch, all the bits you want to see with great editing. Thank you..👍👍
Thank you, glad you like them!
Nitrous cars have evolved from driving candles lit to black smoking.I think this rich condition is healthier to engines.

Not here in the UK, the bigger burnouts get cheers from the crowd.
