They should make it so when your building a ride guests can react and look at it under construction and say thoughts such as “wow that ride looks amazing” - “can’t wait to ride that” etc
Yes. Especially for the literal steam train. Like the western style American type locomotive is cool but it doesn’t really fit any of the themes. I would love a more generic engine that can be customized to suit your theme
The load/unload thing - finally! It’s very rare nowadays to get on a coaster IRL (or even a dark ride) where you get off at the same place you got on. It just slows everything down.
A much needed upgrade would be addition of conveyor belts to raft slides, addition of boomerang, big bowl, return, trap and funnel pieces to single and double ring slides. It bugs me because these elements exist irl. Not only on raft slides
7:09 The question now is: how much will be the new cap? 20.000? 30.000? 40.000? Will be enough for a Disney World recreation with slides and pools? I don’t want my park semi-desert because of the performance, I’ll scale down my options if I need.
I don’t think I heard it specifically mentioned here… but I hope they’re fixing an issue I’ve been having with the excitement/fear/nausea ratings on coasters and flumes. The final rating often makes no sense when looking at the heat map - like I had one flume with a fear rating of 10, so I went into heat maps to see where it was too scary, but the highest point of fear hit anywhere along the flume was like 6, and just for a tiny part, so I don’t know how that equals a total fear of 10😭 and I’ve seen the same thing happen with coasters too.
The special pieces jittering I think mean fixing the visual bugs on drop, tilt and other 3 dimensional stationary pieces. Yk when the coaster falls faster than the drop track and it struggles to keep up? That
I wonder if they’ll fix the thing where if you use the undo button to get rid of pools, it keeps wave machines, lazy river jets etc underground where the pool was. I love that Frontier actually listens to the players. Didn’t play much of Planco 1 but got literally thousands of hours in Planet Zoo and they’ve consistently added and improved to that game
7:11 it means like the drop tracks, tilt tracks and all of the special elements, they shake around a lot when in motion and its honestly so annoying as a ps5 player
I understand why everyone on PC dislikes the changes designed for console and I think they should’ve kept it that way but I’m not able to get a proper PC for it so I’ll hopefully be getting it on PS5 for Christmas so I’m glad to hear there is optimisation for console for it to work

Coasters overlapping each other is a pretty big issue! Pc1 would not let you put a track in the path of another and it allowed for the space the train occupies, but the new game lets you go what you want. Which makes things easier but not very realistic.
Really hoping in the future if they continue updates like this we get more customizable switch tracks where you can have "dynamic" switches, and not have the coaster come to a complete stop at the switch track.

Releasing Planet Coaster 2 with a day-1 DLC and with all of these issues and oversights feels to me like they didn't truly care to release a polished product, and haven't learnt from their past releases. I don't think we should be so quick to forgive them for this messy release just because they say they are listening. I wouldn't be surprised if this "free update" is paralleled with a release of a paid DLC or "content pack", but we will have to wait and see...
So nothing about transfer tracks still
