The Human Fly (1902) Georges Méliès

The Human Fly (French: _*L’Homme Mouche*_) is a trick movie realised in 1902 by • Georges Méliès
A Russian dancer, played by Méliès himself, performs acrobatics surrounded by a group of women and his skill is such that he can even dance on the walls of the room in which he performs.
Once again the masking of the image, combined with an innovative use of the camera (the top view is fixed on the floor), allows Méliès to create unique visual attractions for his time. The film is probably one of the first color films ever made.
