Well as far as I could witness (he lived behind my house in a subdivision’s lake) never saw anyone feeding him. But I can also say he never approached anyone nor was ever a treat. Unfortunately some neighbors were afraid of him and made up stories of him chasing people (never happened) actually when anyone got closer he went straight to the water. We have 4 dogs, 2 of them small chihuahuas living just a few feet from him, never an issue; also a family of 5 duck lived by him… all of them still living in the same spot after all this time. People make up all kind of stories to get rid of this beautiful animal when they are actually the intruders on their habitats. We were in mourning for a whole week thinking he was killed, we are extremely happy knowing he found a new home where he is being well taken care of and appreciated. Thanks to Chris and all his team!!!!!!

I live in germany and i think, the most deadly wild animals we have, are ticks and mosquitos. I can't even imagine living that close to an alligator. It must be amazing, to live that close to wildlife and mourning his loss must be so sad.
But you are right, it has been their living space for probably longer than humans are even around on this planet and getting him killed for just beeing alive/around would be awfull. So glad, he found a new home with chris and gabby.

@@jovialthinker I don’t have words to express how hard was for us the night they took him away… a Saturday night I will never forget. My boyfriend and I were devastated. We saw Wally every single day, he was part of the family already. He never bothered anyone in the neighborhood but unfortunately some people are very intolerant and don’t even realize that we are actually the intruders in the habitat of this beautiful animals and started making up stories of gators chasing people to get him removed (many of them weren’t even aware that it means death for them). We even wanted to collaborate on bringing someone to educate people in the neighborhood on how to coexist with them and what happens when this is no possible (((many of our neighbors thought they will be relocated, NOOOO, IFF ITS OVER 4ft THEY WONT BE RELOCATED!!!)))) Very sad. Wally was always a good boy and deserves a place like where he is right now 💚

@@erlandaislund4594exactly!!!! The houses in this are “newly built” (literally less than 10 years) we are building more and more invading THEIR space and some people still feel like this animals are the intruders. Is very sad.

@@jovialthinkerwe are so thankful for this. It was a very hard time that Saturday night when he was taken away. Wally now has a new family that takes care of him thanks to Chris. When the trapper texted us to let us know that was like a miracle.

I read the comment from the neighbor…I’m not surprised. Most people have never seen another predator, other than their pet dogs, cats and other humans (yes they are all predators by nature). Given how much of what we know about nature is learned on TV and in movie theatre only a small part of the human population in the USA has much reliable knowledge about wild animals, or has observed a wild predator outside a zoo. I’m sad he lost his freedom but at least no one’s going to torment or kill him. And as someone who has seen enclosures that size packed with gators, that’s a damn nice temporary enclosure. So glad he wasn’t killed. He’s a beauty.

Amazing Chris. As you were working to tire him out so you can move him, there was one go around where you were on the left of him in the video - he fast swing snapped his tail and I saw you clear one of your feet by jumping up like his tail was a jump rope. I rewatched that several times because it blew my mind. I suggest you take that snippet and make a slow mo out of that instance. Just amazing skilled precision you have Chris.
If I could put a talk bubble above Stallone s head it would say “Wow, I keep trying to knock him down with my tail but he just leaps to clear my tail. He can’t be human, he must be a super hero.

Like what do you avoid giving the coatamundis(idk if i spelled that right) and foxes and why? What do you add to the food, like bee pollen, and does it help with anything? What is every animals favorite treat? We all know Jellybean LOVES blueberries and Chris's fingers 😂

Woot. A new Gator tator. A healthy looking one. He has some chunk on him. Handsome boy?? He definitely is a Sularski - Alligator with a Itakha Falaya - Long Mouth. Some of my ancestors probably would of thought you as a Tasimbo Na hullo but with much respect for your bravery Chris. The word for Fox in Choctaw is “Chula” I named my red coyote (homme Nashoba holba) & German shepherd (Ofi) hybrid “Chula” she was the most gorgeous canine I have ever seen in my life. And surprisingly one of the sweetest canine I have ever had in my life. The Chahta Okla my moms people say that a great Ofi tohbi protected them on their migration to the now Mississippi area. Not a white wolf but a white dog. That is fascinating to me.
