I was on that tour and I remember Winston coming out of rehearsals absolutely furious. He said "I was this close to telling him to get stuffed and going home". He held his forefinger and thumb about a quarter inch apart. "If he hadn't got such a huge back catalogue I would be gone." I didn't ask more. Also it's interesting thar there is no mention of the night, also Ireland, when Winston was on his raised platform but he had a half circle of clear plastic in front of him between him and the backs of the band. This cut down the volume of his drumming and to further help, Bob and the other band members wore orange earplugs, very noticeable.
Saw you play with fog outdoors San Diego 30 years ago y’all came out dusters cowboy hats they let your hair up and I never knew your name but now I know it it’s Wilson Watson best concert ever I was in front and thanks for best Dylan Concert
Thanks for posting , a really nice down to earth guy, and a great sense of humour
Thanks for sharing 🥁🎼🪘 So glad you got to play all those hurricane rock ‘n’ roll tunes with Scarlet. Drum on🎉

This is THE BEST! I remember some awesome Bob shows with Winston on drums. Amazing memories!
What a sweet man! So pleasant and articulate. I love his drumming and his hair! Thanks for this.

what true gentleman, thank you, really sad van planted that seed in bobs head, very sad
At 31:59 it sounds like “Hurricane “ which Watson said Dylan didn’t play anymore.
He seems to be sort of a basher on the drums. Too loud.
