Steve, what can i say anymore hahaha in my opinion you are way way more than a reactor at this point. seriously you should be considered a top notch critic, and mean that in most positive way, cuz we get to see and hear your opinion while listening at the same time and then after, the verdict with detailed reasons why you did or maybe didnt like a song, without disrespecting the artist(s). i know i know, your taste in music is pretty much same as mine, so it could be considered bias hehe......with that said you never sease to impress and always love the enhtiusiastic reactions when you find something amazing :D bless your heart my guy, stay happy
I’ve seen both Will and Liam live now and I can say Liam does hold his own on stage. He might not have the same vocal range or power as Will but his own spins on their previous songs and how well he does in this track is incredible. Can’t wait for more new stuff from Windwaker with Liam. In the meantime though definitely check out some more tracks off Love Language. Lucy is a good one for sure, or Hide + Seek
I would love to see you react to the newest one SIRENS - I do recall seeing an interview with Liam where he said that this song was a quick release after the departure of Will to make sure that the fans didnt get too anxious about a gap in music. That while this song was a little safer it was about makiing sure that Liam had something with his voice on it and that thier live stuff wouldnt just be "Windwaker Karaoke with Liam". Sirens is thier first real stretch of the musical muscles with liam and he is PHENOMENAL. Love Will, But Liam is no slouch #WeLoveLiamToo
What a ride! I was on board at the beginning… I thought they were going to go in this kind of pop electronic-rock direction. Which I was totally fine with. But then they brought the heavy and it took this from a 6/10 up to like an 8. That was such a surprise! I hear bits of Kill Hannah in here. I wonder if that’s an inspiration of theirs? Really loved the mix here - the digital elements were woven really well with the instruments and the new vocalist has some really phenomenal range. I loved the different textures and color they’re working with. I see a lot of potential here. Found this band through you and now I’ll be paying close attention as they grow and evolve. Thanks for sharing! Great video as always my dude ;)
OK, I'm on board! New singer (Liam Guinane) is different, but fits in nicely. I like this band. They're no Northlane, but have definite hints of Periphery in their sound. Lol.
