The mud guard is for the installation of a shower valve,the bolt caps are from an old color. The index buttons are important because they ONLY fit Kohler,just like the valve stems.
Nice videos! Most of the Kohler parts are service parts. Many plumbers want to use genuine parts or the warranty demands it. I spent many an hour bagging parts there. I currently work in the Generator division:)
Thank you for showing your set up. I am pretty new using my phone and white boards from the dollar store. I’m starting with mugs and little things I find thrifting so this works well for now. The only issue I have is lightning, so thank you for showing this.
LG-G4 is the phone I use it has a fully manual camera and allows you to slow the shutter speed to increase the white backdrop. I bought extra batteries for my phone and always have one waiting in rotation. I take picture Load them on the listing and sit down at the LAPTOP to finish the listings. Easy Peasy . LG-G4 Also can be fully auto as well. And I believe they can be had for around $50 dollars now.
I resell mint condition vintage Bibles and prayer books. I only buy the leather, or in original box. I've had people literally curse me for getting a decent profit on them. I generally never answer them.
For the Polaroid, look into Retrospekt in Milwaukee. Pretty cool set up if you find the old Polaroid cams. If the one you have is new in box, you might do pretty well on it elsewhere. But if it's opened, you can't go wrong with sending to Retrospekt.
Having volunteered at a thrift store, the amount of stuff that comes in is insane. They need to price to move it quickly. I estimate well over half of the stuff never sees the store as it's just junk. Most stores take the obvious stuff and sell it online already. Everything else is pushed to the store and priced to move. Resellers help liquidate that inventory and clear space. It's actually a very necessary and symbiotic relationship.
Great video Rabbit, If you ever want to try something new for the photo backdrop please view one of my older videos where i talk about my photo setup you will see my back drop i purchased at Home Depot its made out of PVC its solid white and its super easy to clean and it comes in huge pieces so that you can lay it down and have it curve upward so that you get that seamless background look, item looks like its just floating in mid air. Great stuff brother nice work.
I’ll check it out! My worry with plastics is that they might get scratched up. I used acrylic for a cool reflective base for awhile but it didn’t take long to get scratched and those really show up on camera.
@@ResaleRabbit Yea i completely understand, this stuff is way different, it does not feel like a hard plastic it does not scratch or anything, you would have to actually feel it and see it in person to actually see what i mean its great, i love it, its so easy to clean and its positionable and playable so it works like paper in a way but stiffer.
My Kohler Shower valve has a life-warrenty and when it acted up I emailed and explained what it was doing. They sent me a new one free shipping free of charge!
Kohler & Delta have a program where you can call & get free replacements parts. I found this out after I spent tons of money repairing my own faucets. But I’ve still sold Delta parts on eBay.
That might work for some people, but I find myself moving them a lot depending on the size of the item. They are a little tippy, but it’s not that big of a deal.
Nice haul you have there with the shoes, phones and the other stuff you should make good money. Yeah taking good photos and having a good tool to crop and fix your photos helps also.

Best thing to use is plexi glass and spray paint one side gloss white. That way you have a white back drop that you can clean as many times as you need to with replacing it over and over.
I Thrifted a Set Of Heavy Duty Light Stands. That Go Supper High. I have not had a Light Fall Since I started using these stands. The Pole is 4.5 inch in circumference. Oh Yea and Paid Up for these heavy Light Stands at $20 .Worth every penny.Way Cheaper than replacing the Huge Day Light Photo Bulbs
It is possible that the wireless phones may automatically reprogram their connection by just inserting in the base - OR there may be a simple reset procedure, depending on the specific model. "Why are they selling genuine factory washers"? Probably designed in a unique configuration that is required by its application and not something available off the shelf at the hardware store.
Chromecast is around $35 for the dongle. It will send any video, website direct to TV wireless from your smart phone, computer, tablets ect when using Goggle Chrome browser. I have had mine for over 8 years. Works great.

Their prices for things that people who are not very fortunate may actually NEED are often higher than what dollarstores ask. Better off buying cheap crap at dollar stores then. That's not the white balance. But that's all right. You never claimed to be a photographer ;).

The majority of what you buy is not the things that a person on a fixed income or someone who is less fortunate is looking to buy. Not only that the amount resellers spend at these stores are boosting sales which as you stated go to various charities, the real reason these stores exist. They also do other things like keep a ton of usable products out of landfills and many of these stores provide jobs and job training to those that have difficulty competing in other fields. My local Goodwill has several wonderful, hardworking employees who have Down’s syndrome and sadly many businesses let bias get in the way of their hiring decisions.
There is not necessarily anything wrong with a 3rd party battery, as long as you don't go for the name brand batteries online. Wasabi power, for example, uses Japanese cells and a charge lasts about 3/4 as long as an OEM battery for a fraction of the price. Sterlingtek (STK) is also good.
Just a note on the photo taking, most modern phones will likely take better photos than the old Sony camera. Also, it's much quicker. No need to mess with SD cards and finding photos. Just make the listing on the computer, save as a draft, and finish in the eBay app. I know this was a year ago, but even a year ago most phones will take better photos than that Sony and you'll save a lot of time. Win win.

Electronics are still a bit scary to me, but I recently made 150 on an electronics item I bought for 5. I sold it the Rabbit way, I split it all up and sold each part separately to make more money. I use my lg g4 for pictures cuz I can take the pics, then upload them right to eBay app in the form of a draft. Then later I fire up the laptop and finish X amount of drafts. It saves sooooo much time.
@@ResaleRabbit I did buy a Bluetooth keyboard this weekend at a goodwill. But, I only use mobile to make drafts and upload pictures super fast. So then my wife or I can use the laptop to finish the drafts and get the stuff listed. Makes it a bit easier cuz one of us is uploading pictures and making drafts at the same time, and the other is finishing them and listing items. Just a tip on a fast way to do things if ya got a team. Thanks for the tip, and all the other tips you've given over the years. We subbed about 3 to 4 years ago when you ran around with raiken.
eBay brings in about $4k per month and auctions bring in about $8k per month. I also have a few other sources of income to go with it. If I was just doing eBay, I wouldn’t need such a large building. And no, it’s not my parents place haha

Goodwill makes money on donated stuff anyway. I worked as a temp at Goodwill once. Any clothes they cant sell they literally put the clothes in a baling machine and they bale up the clothes and send overseas. Everything they make is profit.
I work at a thrift store that helps suport a womans shelter we give people care packages and the women from the shelter shop at the store for free. Items are priced to sell and we dont care who buys it we know several resellers that shop at the store and even let some of the book sellers in the back room to go through the gaylords of books. People who think the stuff in the store is only forsale for the poor has no clue check some of those prices and we also sell on ebay at the store.
Yeah, I just listed them today and they don’t seem to special, but I don’t think I’ll lose money. Like I said, I can bring them to play it again sports and get $10 each for them.

You can get cheap white construction paper background at Dollar Tree, for photos.
Home Depot and Lowes both have apps. You may be able to scan bar codes on the Kohler items to get retail prices.

I’m sure many are fine, but I’ve heard many stories of cut rate batteries damaging electronics. Better safe than sorry!
