There are many talented idols who can sing and dance, there are thousands of them out there but when it comes to charisma it's a different story, not many idols have the charisma and presence like XG, that's why XG is different from the others. Yes 🙌🏽 XG just keep exceeding themselves. I enjoy the versatility with each new Song 🎧, Choreography and MV. I’m amazed at everything they’ve posted and accomplished in just a short time. They announced their upcoming 2024’ World Tour right after their first Solo Concert in Japan 🇯🇵. XGALX has outdone itself again with their presentation and creativity with each concept 👽🧬🎌. Look. XG, is a whole other breed, alone in their genre. Many groups coming out are trying to follow the blueprint but can’t scratch the surface, and can’t even compare. And the fact that they keep 1 upping themselves is CRAZY. Not only XG themselves but those they have supporting them in the background are amazing. Simon the CEO/Producer, the other talented music team of writers/producers, choreographers, visual team, social media, ALL of them are SO talented. AND they respect everyone they work with and pay homage to them ALL THE TIME. The fact they don’t get the recognition they deserve and still deliver like they do is astonishing. This reminded me of M-Flo’s 2000 debut album Planet Shining. It begins with the same type of automated voices over ethereal music announcing destination arrival and hibernation deactivation, then transitions into a fast EDM beat of their first full track. Listening to the album again, it’s obvious early M-Flo was a major influence on the production of this XG album, and to the vocal and rap performances of the XG members.
This song includes a drill music! (4:06 etc) (Maybe Cocona part! ) 2:58~ X-Gene (^^) Heso-no-O (臍の緒) means Umbilical cord! Heso = navel No = of O = string Cocona's drill beat is amazing😱🥺💕 She's a genius and even a monster!
These two tracks are in their NEW DNA Album along with the other tracks Girl Gang, TGIF, New Dance and Puppet Show, so it'd be hard to miss them when you've already reacted to these songs/mv's, LOL! 😂
XG, LE SSERAFIM, NMIXX, ITZY and Dreamcatcher are the best female dancers and performers of current KPOP. And for me XG are the best in the game, and they aren't even considered kpop by many people.
Agreed, XG doesn't consider themselves KPOP or even JPOP. I guess since their music releases are all English. They consider their style as their own and call it XPOP

People can still consider them kpop because they fit all the quotas to be called that (trainees under kpop company, their ceo is a former kpop idol, they go to korean music shows, daily content, variety shows, promote in korea, etc) But you can call them Xpop or jpop (all japanese member group) too. Or even pop (sing all their main songs in english)

@@LFNZE They are not from Kpop company, all of them are trained under Avex, a Japanese company. And they are trained in Korea and Japan, so a mixture of Kpop and Jpop training system. You can call them Kpop/Jpop adjacent girl group but they are definitely not Kpop or Jpop.
XG explained that their New DNA album tells the story of XG’s lore! Forgive me if I get any of this wrong but from my understanding it starts with this, Heesono and XGENE, their birth, the birth of 7 life forms with this new “X-gene” that come together as one (Hence the wolf pack, DNA strand and other type moves in the choreo). Then comes girl gang, they are descending and making their way here from wherever they came from and showing they are an unbreakable group, a “Girl gang” that is here to bring the new “empire”. Then it’s TGIF, they are finally down on earth, and they’ve brought their unique style down to earth where it starts bleeding into the things around them, they are learning about our history and they know they are different and confident “Thank god I’m fly” (Not to mention all the “Alien crossing” Easter eggs in the music video). Next is new dance, they are trying to assimilate into society, learning our dances “I just learned a new dance” and learning to love what’s here on earth while also bringing their own flare to it “We Ain’t come to bother nobody, we just wanna have a good time, movin our body” ( In the New dance performance video you can see them “getting the inspiration” for dance moves from the things they see people doing around them on earth. Lastly it’s puppet show, and it shows their origin. Where they came from, how they might have gotten here, they are talking about changing the game and taking the music industry back for themselves as an all female group trying to stand out “Imagine a world where we could play different roles, were we be taking control”. Similarly in their new video “Winter without you”, the song isn’t as much about their “Journey” but the MV does end up showing them finding the building/ship they are in during the MV for New dance, so in a way it’s another little prequel to that like puppet show (Sorry if I messed any of this up😅! Anyone feel free to correct to add if you’d like)
