This woman was just beyond phenomenal. Again I will tell anyone, she just used her instrument far superior to anyone. The legend. The icon. The Queen. Ms Whitney Elizabeth Houston. The Voice.
Man the lady could just stand there flat footed and sing. Never needed anything on stage but that dynamic voice. She never needed anybody jumping on stage.. just The Voice.
There are many great singers past and present....B U T very few compares to Whitney.....She is so unique. Her VOICE is dangerously amazing😳😳❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
WOW. I never saw this live version. AH-MAZ-ING. There was a club across the street from my office. Kind of a cabaret that did live revues, big production numbers of pop songs. They would have the same show for a month, 3 sets every night. After, Whitney died, they had Whitney Houston month and I heard this song over and over again (including rehearsals). Thanks for washing that memory out of my brain. ;>)
" Welcome home heros " there you will find a lot of gems . Greatest love of all, Love Melody , Battle hymn of Republic , In return , All the man I need , U S National Anthem, Saving all my love .
Whitney Houston is from a very talented family. Her mother Cissy Houston was a successful session singer, and in the 90s won a Grammy for best gospel album. Whitney's first cousin was Dionne Warwick, who had a number of hit songs back in the day. And the cousin of Whitney's mom was Leontyne Price, the first African American to become a leading performer at the Metropolitan Opera.
She did a masterful job on this song, following George Benson's iconic version. And I saw your reaction to it mirrored mine the first time I heard her version. So...... one of her good friends and contemporaries was Melba Moore, who had a song containing "The Note" ... I think in concert they tried to outdo each other on breath control..... So give a listen to Melba Moore and her single "Falling" ..... I think you'll see why they were friendly rivals!!!!
Damn, man. There wasn’t a bad note on that woman’s range. Arguably the most most perfect voice of our lifetime.
And Karen Carpenter

She did conduct her orchestra and band when she performed, they followed her!
Her vocals were amazing
My favorite singer of all time. She sang the greatest National Anthem also.
When I heard her singing this anthem, I wanted to be an American 👍😎❣️
No words to explain her voice but the greatest of ALL TIMES!
I think her voice is in the top 5 all time for female artists. Her voice cuts me to my soul can't explain why. She's one of kind!!!!

All that power that comes spontaneously out of that little frame amazes me. She could get so much power from nowhere mesmerizing
This Lady, our beloved Mrs. Whitney Elizabeth Houston, she was just killing it as usual, any questions left?? No, she was simply the greatest! :)))))
Such a beautiful song and such a beautiful woman. She was amazing to say the least
There's no other voice like it!!! You might wanna give a listen to "I Have Nothing" live (in the red dress)!!! I think you'll enjoy that as well!!!

Hello friend react to Javier Limón y Buika pogr Buenafuente, greeting from Spain🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸.
Only a good Christian woman can sing like that
That’s the worst arrangement of that song she’s ever done. He needs to listen to a better version of this song.
No its not…
