Explain repainted issue about renko
sir app bolye box size. box size asper risk taking capacity hoga na, jaise 10 ka aap ne kaha, to kya main indice mai use karsakta hu. jaise nifty , banknifty, apka concept bohot clear hai, but box size asper risk taking hogana.
koi bolta hai ATR rakho koi bolta traditional rakho...samaz nhi aata krna kya
Nifty box size 10.
Timeframe Daily.
Nifty cmp 17043.
Suppose nifty open gapup 150 points.
Than it will show 14 boxes up.
And for confirmation of renko box closing, i will get confirmation only at 3.30 pm. Bcoz you are using daily tme frame.
So my buy will active after 14 boxes.

Hi, thanks for the comment let us understand the challenges and possible scenarios first thing we have to keep in mind is if you try to use Renko when there is big gap up or down you will face this issue plus with renko or without renko how we trade intraday is after three 5 min candles are made , i can understand looking at video where i have used daily time frame making people aware about chart structure of Renko and the concept of box size once can assume we are trading intraday by only looking at daily time frame which is not right we look for daily for long term trend and convert it into 5 min chart for taking entrie .
just take an example of nifty yesterday around 9.30 you can identify a potential sell entry on the basis of Renko also and candlestick also where after a gap up a very good shooting star candle got developed but renko also gave a good confirmation on intraday chart whereas daily was continuously giving the sell trend. the same thing got repeated in intraday today morning around same around 9.35 .
if you go through my explanation where i have mention that this is just a begining of learning about renko because these are not simple price charts it takes a lot of adjustments and other variables to take a trade.

What if we change the Renko setting from Close to Open? So the brick is printed on the opening price for that time period, and not the high/low/close? Would that help with repainting issue as it takes the fluctuation of high/low out of the equation?

please understand it is applicable for for the underlying asset we have to make adjustments when we are trading options as movement of premium will be fast or slow depening on moenyness of the options

Heikin ashi takes the averages while renko takes a block of prices n in heikin ashi closing n opening also plays imp role whereas renko is pure price that is why you are seeing continuous weakening of nifty
