Main issue with Renko is that if the movement is sudden, even if the time frame is 1 min, it will suddenly print 5 or 6 bricks in one go. For example Bank Nifty is trading at 46000 and suddenly in one minute it drops by 100 points (which happens many times in BNF) and if your renko brick size is 20, it will suddenly print 5 bricks in one minute. You will not be able to get entry in between. Same thing with Stop Loss. Even if you set up SL below one brick, you will sometimes suddenly see bricks going below your SL and then they vanish and price moves up again. This is what we call SL hunting. If you see afterwards, you wont be able to see why your were stopped out. For gap ups or downs, it suddenly shows sometime 10 to 15 bricks printed. In my opinion, unless you combine normal candle stick chart with Renko, you will not be able to use Renko charts for day trading atleast. I would really appreciate if you can show us live trading with Renko. None of the so many Renko trainers on You Tube ever shows live trading with Renko.

Renko is a noise less chart and is best suited for swing trading, where we don't require constant monitoring of charts. Intraday trading is full of false noise and wild swings hence price action on normal charts along with renko would work together better over here. The usp of renko is lose small and win very big & that's fine in trading. For intraday renko trading the ideal time frame is 1 second however this time interval is available only in TV premium.For example If the brick size is 25 for 1 second timeframe in bnf,then one can easily catch a trend of 150 points+ after two/three bricks final printing.

@@akhlr9458 don't worry dear, even though the time frame is of 1 second but the bigger brick size of renko will take care of filtering noise.

Doesnt work in live market, repaint hota hai, guys dont get fascinated by this. It works only in 1 min time frame that too if movements are fast, you will get confused as repainint keeps happening

@Madam- How about the formation of bricks in Commodity considering the overnight risk in MCX? Will the brick be formed as a Gap down or Gap as per the movement in Comex/Nymex/ any other?

If you have 5 min chart then u will need to wait till 5 minutes are complete else it will give you repaint.

You whole concept is wrong bcoz the platform you are using (trading view) for renko is not price based its time base....if you really want to use renko change your platform to metatrader...trade station etc
