Hi brother, hope you are doing great. Can you list some of the colleges in USA for supply chain management. And I have considered UTD as an option. Some of the questions are how is the mathematics and how though is the course. Currently I’m working in a factory as stores executive so I have basic idea about procurement and supply chain.

Hi brother!! I am pursuing mechanical engineering 4th year now and got admit at UTD this fall. Should I directly join the course or get 1-2 year experience?
Congratulations, go ahead and directly join the course.
Lately having a experience of 2 years won’t be that beneficial compared to coming now. I have few friends with no work experience prior to masters and now are doing better than me or other folks with experience
Just focus on getting your summer internship .

Bhai I’m planning to do MS in Logistics and supply chain and management in USA
I just wanted to confirm whether this course is STEM or Non - Stem?
thanks broooooo.....i am just like you. i have no interest in coding even though i know there is good money in it and dream to break free of the 9-5 job and start some business of my own. What is your opinion of studying masters in supply chain in europe ? Isn't it easier to settle there or do you suggest me trying to study in the US itself ?
It won’t be easier to settle anywhere once we leave our motherland till me start me good amount of money, that is for sure.
Plus missing home can be really quite a big thing.
I don’t have much idea regarding Europe try to connect with few alums from your field working in Europe and see if they can give you some real insight.
For USA, if you going through the channel of education loan for masters, then come with a mindset of giving it all in for next 2 - 3 years and you won’t regret it, market is very tough right now.
What about Germany? Im trying to fet into MSc in supply chain and logistics... Can u please guide me.
Thank you so much for making this informative video
I am also planning for scm please guide me.

I’m doing procurement and sourcing job so in future what will more beneficial course for me??
Mba or masters in SCM or some other course??
Hey Brother, will revert back shortly
Thanks for reaching out
Is this course worth doing in India and what's the salary for freshers
Hey there can you please mention some of the skills one should have to consider a future in SCM
For now if someone know basic stuff like -
1. Super Basic Excel Skill( which can be learnt in 1 -2 day )
2. Effective communication
And is a undergrad, they can start out to seek roles in Inventory planning, logistics, procurement to start.
a major part of roles will be highly data invested too for which ability to run queries through SQL would be preferred and also having understudying of python and advance level excel.
These would be the two skills which can sort out alot of things initially for a entry level role and ultimately as you grow in career you can hone a lot of relevant skills basis what you actually feel like doing in supply chain.
FYI - more technically sound you are, it can help you to kick start your career and being paid handsomely too, but it’s not at all required for a lot of roles too!
If you are someone trying to figure things out, mail me what you want to do career wise and I might be able to help you
Mail your question and CV @ ankitkumar44881@gmail.com
I might be able to help you better
Good information ankit. Could you tell how to build a SCM career in India ? I'm already doing a job in Procurement since the last 2.5yrs in Oil & Gas field.
Any information would help. Thanks
Hey Karan,
Three recommendations-
I am no expert myself, in your case scm is completely different in oil and gas and much more complex than compared to retail. In your case I will highly recommend a 1 year mba from college like ISB Hyderabad campus and then 1 or 2 year in consulting in scm focused vertical and you will be all set for the life.
All of this is easier said then done.
Another way can be upskilling in oil and gas field, for this I will highly recommend rewatching out to leaders who are already doing good in your field and have similar academic or professional journey as yours.
Try to think about a problem in SCM and try to build something of your own.
Very helpful sirji
Thank you sir for watching :)
Brother i think you are right person to guide me.
Im computer science graduate having 1.7 years of coding and software Engineer experience.
Honestly telling i have interest in coding but not that much , means i can't able to seat and code whole day.
I thought that mba will be the good option then i got to know supply chain management career has existed. Willing to grab this career opportunity with my coding knowledge and communication skills, shall i opt for this career?
What are the future growth and salary. When i compare to IT industry i got demotivated. Can you tell me exactly what it is.
I want to be a supply chain manager how much time it will take after completing mba.
Thank you Ayan for reaching out, let’s connect on LinkedIn and have a chat one on one :)

Hi, can you please make a video of how you got your internship or co-op, and how find it, any helpful advice for how are currently studying scm. By the way I am currently studying advance diploma in supply chain and operations management in Canada, so it will helpful for me to find co-op here. Thank you
Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion, I will definitely make one video on this. To start with look out for companies that offer Co-op programs in Canada (search this on Google) .
And apply for all the relevant Co-op programs and parsley try to reach out to folks from these companies for referal.

Thank you for watching the video, soon will start working on one video each week:)
Hi Ankit ji, This side Tejaswini from Mumbai. I would like to connect with you.
I have total 13.5 yrs of SCM experience in India across Automobile and Shipping industry. Now I am looking for international exposure, little confused if I must upskill myself with Masters for my resume to get recognised in international market. Please do reply. Thank you.
Hi Tejaswini,
You have solid experience to start with, I would say go for an executive mba from tier 1 college like MIT. Don’t settle for anything less as it won’t be worth while if you start with a basic college in USA. As the struggle is real and you might not be able to leverage your work experience and knowledge the way you could have.
You should even think of a startup if you want to do a complete Tapasya for next 2 years and use your mba budget on it :):)
Seeing your experience that won’t be a bad choice too
Bro how is Australia for supply chain and should I do MSC or mba in supply chain management. I don't have any experience.. what will you recommend
Bro Australia ka all I know is, job Market is not that promising for scm, like I have a friend he did his scm masters from Australia and then from USA as he was unable to get any job in Australia.
So I will recommend if possible explore other options also like seeing you are a fresher try for northeastern university in the USA. They have great Co-op program which help student to get a internship for 6 month

Hello Mr. Kumar,
I am from Bangladesh. I have recently completed my bachelor's in Supply Chain Management. I have done my internship in Kuehne Nagel, (Dhaka Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh). Currently, I am thinking about to do my Masters' in a STEM designated program, on specific in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, etc. Could you please help with choosing university and which states would be better for the supply chain career opportunities.
Hi Akil,
Have you written your GRE as of now or are you Planning to apply without one ?
Hi Ankit. Hope you are well. Can you guide me as to what are the top 10 programs in Supply chain management in US? What do you think about Gartner rankings?
Hey,
Top program would be from MIT, Michigan Ross , Ut Austin could be among the top 3 it would be dificult to name all 10
About Gartner ranking are a good base to get started with but I will also recommend reaching out to a alumni of that university to have a better understanding of the actual scene of that university
@Udaaaan @Udaaaan thanks for the prompt reply.
By best programmes I meant best MS Supply chain management, not MBA with a concentration in SCM.
Thank you!
Sir... I have completed my graduation in Btech civil engineering in 2018.....after that I was preparing for upsc Civil service exams...... So I
don't t have any work experience. So is it possible for a profile like mine to get admission for scm masters and even if I get admission is it possible for me to get into a job after my masters (since I don't have work experience will the companies reject me)..?
And I thought of applying in France since they have compulsory internships... Wat is ur opinion on this?

Hi Vanshika,
Sure, will be happy to connect and discuss more.
Di btech cs vs bba mba which is good?
I’m from Pakistan and planning to pursue my master's in SCM from UT DALLAS as an international student .
Do you suggest any other college that I can consider.
Hey, Ms Scm from utd is definitely a good choice to consider however like you can consider many other college depending on your merit - gre , Ug academic scores, LOR, SOP ETC
Brother i am working in logistics for 4 years......i did my graduation in BA...and i am planning for mba...which on is good Logistics and supply chain management or oprations...
Brother, bro it hardly matters in terms of just curriculum name.
While pursuing mba you can focus on subjects in a way that they are more towards global ops , global logistics overall global supply chain in general, companies like Apple , tesla hire a lot on all these positions.
Overall try to see the repo of your targeted college, if you can study hard core try to file for MIT , UT Austin
And keep UTD as a safe net
I completed my graduation from BMS, so should I pursue diploma in SCM or do MS.SCM, actually it has been 4 years since I completed my graduation.
Bhai in your case depends on intent kya h masters krne ka, it’s a big investment if you will do from abroad.

Is there any numerical or financial courses on Masters in the Supply chain . i wanna ignore numerical and mathematics in masters please help bro
Yes, we do need to complete one accounting subject during masters which is a core subject as well
Ankit bhai, ek ques tha, after scm what if i wanna switch my career to join some other field lets say some finance field, will they hire me with scm degree or am I stuck with the supply chain field for life long
Hi bro, with scm if you want to switch to finance it will totally depend on your core capabilities like accounting etc, while doing your masters you can select your course in a way that you are well versed with finance and supply chain both, like I did my masters in supply chain but my current role is not a core supply chain role it’s 70 % marketing 30 %supply chain
I know 3 students from my batch who did masters in SCM in the USA and they are CA in India.
Procurement roles really prefer this kind of combo

Hello Ankit,
Excellent video for SCM,
I have also graduated in 2016 and working in the field of sales and operation for more than 6 years.
I have also got admit from UTD for MS in SCM with 50% scholarship for fall 2024 and spring 2025. How would you rate the University for SCM?
Great, congratulations on your admit. With 50 percent scholarship it’s a good deal for you to seriously think about utd. However it depends on your other admits as well, in UTD you will se a lot of freshers and folks with less than 1 years of experience so in terms of networking I won’t say it’s the best option but yes Richardson is a alright place to live in. Overall the vibe is Dallas is sad.
But with your experience you should be able to grab good internship and that’s the key to ultimate good life in the USA doesn’t matter how bad or good utd is, university only matters to a point until it’s MIT / Harvard types.
@@Udaaaan Thanks Ankit for your quick response and guidance. I am sure it will help me to take better decision.

Bro great work wanted to know more on supply chain management as an non engineer (BBA) student how is it to get into supply chain should one pursue masters in the field or not
Thank you bro, from a perspective of becoming a entrepreneur and if you don’t see yourself becoming a tech founder.
Then scm and things around operations will definitely give you hands on experiences. But the way scm works in India is a little different than how things move in the USA.
From a career point of view until it’s top tier college in India, scm is a big struggle but from a global perspective things are totally different.
sorry but this shows your illiteracy... supply chain management has nothing to do with engineering, SCM is itself part of BBA and overall Commerce not engineering. Your question doesn't make sense.

You just need to focus, all skills can be learned while pursuing your masters
And is it something like girls can not apply???
Its a management/commerce course not engineering one.
