Amazon makes these really cool magnetic bungee like cords to hold your fabric! Its called Reusable silicone magnetic cable ties. You get 14 for like $15 USD. Just don't leave needles or pins in your WIP's if they are languishing! They may rust and you don't want that! You are such a lovely young lady, inside and out❣

For paper charts, I scan them to pdf and then use Good Notes on my ipad. You can't search for symbols, but you can zoom in to see better and then highlight them as you stitch. If you're a counter though you'll have to count manually. I usually stitch an area, then count the stitches as I highlight them.

With your phone you can take a photo of your paper chart and upload it to your pattern keeper and manually input the size and floss colors by choosing the corresponding symbol.

I've bought a Tuscan house/village street patten (special request from my hubby) terracotta and turquoise colors, will be my first full coverage so keen to start it in the next month or so. I don't have Pattern Keeper, but what's worked awesome for me even with paper charts is just iBooks already on your apple products. I just take a pic of the pattern with my ipad, then in the photo click to open it in iBooks, then there it is and you can zoom, highlight, erase, etc. So easy! :)

I'm stitching my first HAED and it's about 161.700 stitches, but I love it so of wil be finished one day. I bet you'll catch up with me really soon! 😄
33k stitches of black??? Oh wow... Respect. My current haed has 27k stitches total and I felt like that was a big commitment.

I've bought a Tuscan house/village street patten (special request from my hubby) terracotta and turquoise colors, will be my first full coverage so keen to start it in the next month or so. I love both your finishes! Looking forward to progress on your next full coverage! I don't have Pattern Keeper, but what's worked awesome for me even with paper charts is just iBooks already on your apple products. I just take a pic of the pattern with my ipad, then in the photo click to open it in iBooks, then there it is and you can zoom, highlight, erase, etc. So easy! :)
