Definitely harder, darker and heavier! I'd love it if they went a bit more thall, but maybe Buster will both play on AND produce next Vildhjarta (which might take years tho) and then we'll get more thall
@@gomaaren I noticed that, too! If you check their other new songs you can definitely get the thall vibe from them stronger than here, so I think it may just be this song and probably a couple more. Even if this isn't full-on chaotic thall, it wasn't really that strongly thall before, not like Vildhjarta, Hjarna Waves, and Through Lifeless Eyes. I don't know exactly what to call HLB, but it's seemed like a project focusing more on the hard, dark, and heavy aspects of thall without as much of the chaotic intricacy we see in other thall groups.
@@HouseOfBrickOne I'd say Vildhjarta's måsstaden and Thousands of Evils pretty much form the definition of thall, and HLB's self titled I view as thall+deathcore, and a lot of thall at that. With Detestor it became a bit less thall and more deathcore and maybe also death? Anyway, depends a little bit on what people mean by thall. I'd say a lot of it is the tone, weird rhythms and insanely large and quick intervals on the guitar

When I first heard HLB in 2013 I was sweating from the music, it was just so intense. Then the self titled album came out and I almost got a heart attack, heaviest album I ever heard. Detestor came out, again cracked the darkness scale by far. At this point I already thought "You can't get any darker than that, it's just physically impossible". Abyssal Mouth Single proved me wrong there again. First time I cried from heavyness, I'm noit lying!
This band managed to grow above them selves with each and every album.
Just imagine the sheer utter GRAVITY of the next album....my bones arent ready.

@jonathan selman Disentomb and HLB don't seem to be living in the same space when it comes to mix/production. I guess if you like more raw mix and blast beats Disentomb can be more appealing, but I'm sticking with HLB here
