For example, in "Sunshine by my Side" they said that the first scene of Xiao Zhan and Bai Baihe together was shot at the restaurant, where the two characters meet in person for the first time in the plot. But it wasn't the first scene we saw as a public. The director chose to begin shooting with that scene to show them getting more and more familiar with each other with time, meaning the actors as colleagues and their characters in the drama. Also, if the filming was made in actors and actresses' houses, it would be more a documentary. I believe serious artists value their privacy, and so we should respect it 😊
