Yibo is just being Yibo and I don't believe he has bad intentions. He may come off as cold in some situations, but I think he's just being his good ol' straightforward (and savage) self lol. Most of the time, because of how blunt he can come off (and how much of a gremlin he can be), he gets misunderstood.

Which is why sometimes we shouldn't be quick to jump to the conclusions on what we saw online these days.

Everyone likes to have their own space. So when Idols or artist get to a point in place where someone gets to close to them... making it so difficult that they can't get thru the crowd. it's pretty obvious very uncomfortable!!! One never knows what to expect. So you have to be cautious. It's rude disrespectful.....Give them some space!! This way noone gets hurt. You'll get better a view of Yibo coming in or leaving the place. In my own opinion Yibo has a unique personality. If Yibo's uncomfortable in his surrounding believe me you will know.
but then again yall are being quite defensive here as well.... while he's not rude, he's still cold and slightly aloof to new people that he's not already acquainted with, isn't he? obviously that's part of his personality and there's nothing wrong with that but it's not gonna be acceptable to everyone all the time yknow? especially because this is showbiz and this is their job, whether or not we entirely like it WE made it this way.

When he notices a girl is trying to flirt with him etc he acts cold, which is very understandable! But with girls who are chill around him he acts completely normal, as he does with friends. For example with Ting from Street dance of china! He had a whole prank cam and he held her hand and laughed and smiled at her normally. Ting is a very cool, talented and chill girl, so he probably felt safe talking to her

This is how i behave and everyone hates me. "How can you act like this? She is a girl" wtf does it even mean? I'll treat girls with respect but i will never act like they are delicate and weak. He is kind to those who don't throw themselves at him. He does his job properly and isn't overly aware of the girls unless he has to be on guard. Some girls act the fool, even during his work. He can do well because this is his work but he won't do anything he doesn't want to. He has always made it clear that he doesn't hold girls to the unfair sexist standard and will not baby them or treat them as fragile glass. I think that is very good. But you can tell that flirting makes him very uncomfortable. As it should. It abandons respect.
Yeah. It it irks me when people try to make it seem like he dislikes women completely. He gets along with them just fine as long as they're not flirting with him. I remember seeing this one clip where he was at an event and something fell off the table and while he bent to pick it up, he turned away while doing so bc a girl wearing a skirt was standing close by. At the same event while toasting, he held his glass much lower than the girls, which is usually something you'd do for elders and seniors. He's shy and careful in his behaviour as someone who is a popular celebrity. But otherwise if he is comfortable with you, he's really kind, playful and friendly. The bts with wang zixuan and zhao liying are evidence of it.

No matter girls or boys, Yibo will just treat them as he truly feels. He's nice and polite to his co-workers. On the other hands, if you r rude to him, regardless of your gender, he'll show you his cold side. The copy guy n flirty girls from China Street dance 3 and the recent clingy photo guy are the best example. To sum up, he's very comfortable to be who he is. 🤗
P.S. If I do the analysis and follow up for my assignments as serious as I do on Yibo, I'm sure to get high scores.😂

That being said, he doesn't ever purposely put a girl in an uncomfortable situation. He is a true gentleman when needed. He just doesn't sweeten up to them the way everyone expects boys his age to do, because he's being polite the way he is supposed to, doesn't mean he is interested in any other way and he makes that very clear. That to me, is quite charming.

I try to do that too, and you're right. People get so offended if you stand for what's right in protecting someone or yourself. Had to do that yesterday to a woman who was attacking someone's sheep fleece, and this shepherd was a young boy. Not on my watch. I did not use foul language, just put my hand up and turned my back on her to block her out of the discussion. The boy's Mother and I finished our business transaction, and I bought the fleece for my research. I couldn't believe that anyone, let alone someone who sort of knew me and what I was working on, could think to argue with me over different wool that goes into my sock yarn. I think his cold, ruthless image is partly due to evil editing and partly people ship him with his co-star actors (so they refuse the idea of him being nice to girls).

💚 i've def seen those clips before and i understand what you mean. when i first became yibo's fan, i also only saw that one side but after watching more and more of his clips, i realized he was simply oblivious sometimes and he treats men and women equally (which i think is where the misunderstandings some from since he doesn't treat them any differently from a guy).

thank you for watching until the end! tbh, when i first became a fan of yibo, that's all i saw (how he's cold to girls) but after i started watching more and more of his shows (and after i saw the full episodes of these clips), i knew that him being mean wasn't true. he may be a gremlin and straightforward sometimes, but he's never rude or lacks manners. i'm glad you enjoyed it! 💚

I think Yibo is just not someone who flatters anyone, but keeps it real. I think he's just good at enforcing personal boundaries even as a star, and I respect him for that. It seems like he was a bit uncomfortable with those women who were being flirty. I've seen stars play along for the sake of camera and people want that, but Yibo not doing so may seem as unusual and "cold" to some, but I feel that he's just drawing a line and being respectful. I hope that people respect his personal space and comfort as well.

That video was made by their shipper and that person wants to show that WY loves this girl and they are in love. But ,somehow, i came out as complete opposite and i felt his behaviour quite inappropriate at that time. I knew that he is not this kind of person who will behave this way but i didn't know whole situation. So, i have this doubt. Now, it is clear that it was just a task. It's got nothing to do with the fact that they're girls. Huge common misconception. He's naturally distant from everyone until he gets to know them. And if they mesh well and he feels comfortable with them he'll be like a puppy following them around, smacking them, being dorky. That's his way. He's still very young and with time as he meets more people, he'll grow and evolve. It's all a part of growing up. Not everyone is the life of the party in a room full of strangers. Thank you so much for this video! We could see that yibo actually is the nicest human being on earth. I feel bad for him when he is being misunderstood by others. I can relate to him on a spiritual level. Though I'm a girl, I have the exact same personality as yibo. On top of that, I'm an introvert too.
Other people tend to have wrong impressions on me especially when I'm giving opinions. It's sad that they think there's something wrong with me or I'm being rude and mean when the truth is, I'm just uncomfortable with their attitude/action.
I'm glad that there are many people in the comment section understand and fond of this type of personality. It makes me feel less alone because I think many people around me don't like me.
The way some girls try to throw themselves at him is really cringy to watch. Can’t blame him for being put off by that. He’s a professional and doesn’t want to be seen as a piece of meat.
He seems to be a reserved guy that might not feel confident around girls and guys on the first sight and doesn't do a lot of small talk. But I bet that as soon as he gets to know someone better he opens up. I used to know someone just like yibo. He used to be very cold and reserved until he was confident around people. It was due to the hard way he was brought up and somethings happen in the past that made him shut down this way but even today he is an amazing person to have around. You never know. Unless people actually know yibo there is no way to know how he really is. In my opinion, even the clips that are meant to show him being "mean" are not mean at all. He just treats girls like he treats everyone else. Being nice to girls does not mean you have to treat them like babies or only say "flowery" words to them. We can handle honesty, constructive criticism, competition, etc. just like anyone else.
That is one of the main character traits Yibo is known for, his honesty. To me it seems like he treats everyone like his friend because he is so casual and just says whatever is on his mind. So I really admire that about him, and I love that he treats everyone the same. 💚

"Yibo being Yibo" is actually a testament to his lack of artifice, a rare quality in celebrities and people in entertainment and showbiz, where appearance/image-management is the name of the game. it is also a testament that being a celebrity doesn't consume his person, that he can separate "acting and performing" as what he does in his line of work, otherwise he remains true to himself. that shows such admirable self-integrity and maturity.
what is ironic is a huge part of the babie's tremendous appeal is this "bluntness". bo being himself or "being savage" is so impossibly cute, because he is quite oblivious of its effect(s) on people. that's PEOPLE btw - not just girls - but everyone! babie practices equal opportunity when it comes to being direct. 😂😂😂
