    Lucas Oil builds a great speedway and gets a pitiful crowd. Track was in excellent shape and the racing was real good. If you are a sprint car racing fan,then there is no excuse for not being there! That speedway only hosts sprint cars a few times a year.

    Tyler Courtney is *SUSPECT.* He dropped 7 positions in the first 7 laps @ Knoxville Nationals this year. He raced backwards @ I-70 speedway. He raced backwards @ Lucas Oil. That HL race @ Lernerville was a $50,000 gift that fell in his lap. It's as if he is taking driving advice from his NOS Energy sponsored mate, Chris Winless.

    Roth Motorsports and Brent Marks are weighing their options on whether to return to High Limit next year so this charter might not be enough to cover the costs of touring coast to coast. This is reported on Dirtrackr's TH-cam channel.

      Did you see the stands at Lucas Oil Speedway last night?

    • @midnight-2021
      @midnight-2021 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @raymond3803 Brad Sweet and Kyle Larson made the series too similar to the WOO. They should have kept the ASCoC series with the Ohio Speedweeks and the PA Speedweeks on that schedule along with other well-known races like Bob Weikert and the Tuscarora 50 and other famous races. Plus, have a separate West Coast series with running California Speedweeks, Washington Speedweeks mixed in that schedule along with other well-known known west coast races of the past. Run both separate series and crown a champion for each series by late September. Then run a 3 or 4 race week in Texas with a playoff format in mid October of the top 8 drivers from the west coast series and top 8 drivers from the ASCoC series with the elimination of some drivers in each race to have the 4 remaining drivers for the last race compete for the overall High Limit Series championship. This would give the High Limit their own identity and wouldn't be a burden on teams with the traveling expenses.

    • @raymond3803
      @raymond3803 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@midnight-2021 That's quite an elaborate format. I personally think the ASCoC was a joke. The last season, Chris Winless, who after 4 full seasons, has still never won a winged race. Finished 2nd in ASCoC points. All Stars seldom had over 2 teams showing up for every race. Personally, I think High Limit should have expanded their Tuesday-Thursday format. Stuck their dates at places in-between WoO weekend races. And made it so lucrative, top teams told WoO to shove their point fund and tow money up their ass. That 2023 show @ Eagle could have paid $250,000 to win, $150,000 for 2nd, $100,000 for 3rd. Eagle track owner along with Sweet & Larson would have still made money. One season like that, with WoO crowning Bill Rose as their champ. And WoO would allow their stars freedom to race where they want. Just like late models.

    • @midnight-2021
      @midnight-2021 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @raymond3803 I think the midweek races are a bad idea because not enough people can go to the race on a work night, especially people that work 2nd and 3rd shift Monday through Friday. All I see are very small crowds for midweek shows because of a large majority of people's work schedule.

    If Brent Marks doesn't get a top 5 in owners points, as of now he fell to 6th, then he choked as bad as the Phillies did in 2024 and what a choke by the Phillies in the playoffs. It must be a PA thing, unfortunately, that us PA fans have to live with unfortunately. PA drivers in these tour series hasn't been that good. Logan Schuchart is respectable with 4 top 5s in the final points for the WOO series with 1 of those 2nd in the points in the Covid year 2020 but he seems to be falling apart unfortunately when it comes to being a consistent top 5 in points for WOO touring in recent years. The best series driver from PA in history is Stevie Smith with his best 2nd overall to Steve Kinser in 1992 with Stevie Smith having a total of 8 top 5s in WOO final points with 4 of those 8 being in the top 3 in final points with his best 2nd in 1992. Doesn't look like we will ever see another PA tour driver as good as Stevie Smith. Logan Schuchart looked promising for awhile but not anymore and Brent Marks doesn't look like it either. Anthony Macri some might say but I see Anthony Macri no better than Brent Marks at a tour series IMO with both Brent Marks and Anthony Macri being better as pick and choose more than touring series. Brent Marks had great success in the last 3 seasons as a pick and choose driver with his main concentration in PA, especially in 2022. Anthony Macri did great as well in 2022 and this year with that same format as well and great in 2023 up until PA Speedweeks of 2023. So it looks like Stevie Smith will always be king of the PA drivers when it comes to a cross country touring series I guess. Stevie Smith was a good WOO tour driver, and Logan Schuchart respectable but everyone else including Brent Marks and Jacob Allen just ok at best for touring series.
