Try the Ryobi fan. Sits on a 5 gal. bucket of water and gives a nice mist. Also, hooks up to a water hose at home for a nice mister. Less then $100 at home Depot.

i bopped a 46in red on fishbites before, a good thing to do is to salt cure some fresh shrimp before you go the the sand, it makes them semi-tough and preserves them for a while, ill grab a fresh lb or 2 when heading out to no-mans land , just in case i cant net mullet. use a lil bait elastic to keep em on the hook when i send it. i like these vids you do on the tx coast, subbed

Thank you for your video it was great! Have you ever used that cooler in your tent? I find that here in Texas sometimes I don’t go to sleep in the summer until around 3 AM in the morning in my tent because we are sweating the whole time. 😬😬😬😂😂
That’s partly why I bought it. I had a very bad experience at the beach a few weeks ago. Normally, beach camping at night is a pleasure because of that awesome sea breeze, but that weekend it was particularly hot and the wind was under 10mph. I just got the icy breeze so I haven’t tried it in the tent. I would say it would definitely help; especially if paired with a little fan.

Regarding fish bites, my wife and I caught the following from the surf: Jack Crevalle, Speckled Trout, Reds, Black Drum…just about everything lol. We load up on whiting and sand trout all the time…mostly for bait or a quick fish fry.

How is that long trail you have to take to get to the back out there? I know in a previous video you got stuck in mud. Is it always muddy on that path or does it dry out?
It dries out nicely and is easy to drive (except for some light articulation.) The recent rains may have turned it back into a muddy mess though.
