The Pilgrim Jubilees has been one of my favorite groups for years. I'm intrigued by their style of performance.Cleave and Clay are anointed with the gift of working an audience; also Ben, Major, and the band they make a good combination. God bless them all, I pray that all is well with them.

So sorry to hear that Clay had died March 13, 2018. I had noticed that he mentioned in one of their latest videos that he had surgery. He didn't look well and I noticed his right hand was out of sorts during the performance. He mentioned a friend of his Joe Ligon of the Mighty Clouds of Joy and he was missing his friend and that they were around the same age of 80 years. Did not know he would be gone so soon after the video. I miss his singing and performing so wonderful all of the time. I recall when they came to the Civic Center in my town and they were the last group to perform and when they started singing, the workers at the center came from the back to listen and see them perform. That is why they scheduled them as the last group wherein people would stay to hear them. All of the groups were good that night, but the Jubes were tops. Cleave is holding on very well since his brother Clay has passed. I am glad of that because they were close. I'm so glad I have so many songs by them. They will never leave me and my family. Rest in peace dear Clay Graham, you are missed.

I knew that Ben Chandler had high blood pressure when they came to my town to sing, but I don't know the cause of his death. I don't know the cause of Major's death, only know that he has gone too. I won't name all of the others who have gone on from other groups. There are many, and I know so many more, I can tell you that. We have to prepare for death like anything else as human flesh won't make it to heaven. A new body we all shall have one day. I am grateful that I'm saved.
